Very happy with Pet plus us insurance
Very satisfied with insurance so far. A bit pricy for my puppy Rottweiler though.. But the claim process was easy on Portal. Takes some time to figure out what information exactly needed. But outcome is very satisfying at the end. I advise to send as much info about your pet as possible and also ask to do the same your veterinarian. Otherwise you will keep getting emails that more information required.
Overall I very happy choosing Pet plus us . They deliver what promise. Hope our rates not going up crazy. My puppy only 8 month old and it is long way to go with this insurance. Thank you Pet Plus Us for helping my puppy get healthie.

A 22% premium increase in 2 years is utterly disgusting
On their website they say premiums will not increase due to pet age or claims. However, we have had coverage for our dog the past two years and the premium has INCREASED BY 22% in that time. When asked, they said this was due to inflation and the increasing cost of veterinary care. My partner is a manager of a large veterinary hospital. Clients would be outraged if their prices increased 22% in two years. So Pets Plus Us, when does it stop? At this rate I will be paying DOUBLE the premium amount before my dog is 10 years old. Would not recommend.

Slow refunds, 2020
So far we have submitted 2 claims. 1st beginning of Sept., refund received OK, 2nd claim submitted Sept 25th (no refund so far), 3rd claim should go in Oct. 19th. The question/answer page does not indicate how long it will take tp process a claim. When you have several bills to submitted it may be difficult to keep track of all your records/claims. The your portal does show info link claim "in process' but no time lines. If you have thousands of dollars in claims you would like a speed refund so you can pay your bills.

Monthly Cost
Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
There is no upper age limit.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.
Exclusions
All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement.
All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
