Fast and Easy

My cat had a mass in her back leg and I was able to submit that claim through the healthy Paws website. Submitting the claim was very fast and easy to follow. My claim was completed in less than 4 business days and it covered 80% of the bill.

Healthy Paws for the win!

When our three-year-old healthy cat suddenly had a major medical emergency, we didn’t think twice about getting her the care she needed. We quickly wracked up about $7,500 in vet bills, seeing a specialist and doing multiple tests. We had never submitted an insurance claim for a pet before, and we were nervous. Thank goodness we chose Healthy Paws to cover her when she was still a kitten! They reimbursed us for everything we expected, given the plan we chose. I can’t thank Healthy Paws enough for how easy they made the process and how quickly they processed our claims! It was a relief to know we wouldn’t have to shoulder the financial burden alone, and we were able to focus on helping our kitty recover. Thankfully, she is doing much better now and we are grateful to have our family member back to her sweet, playful self.

VETERINARIAN: Animal Care Center of Castle Pines

Ten stars!!!

Our last dog was quite healthy but needed some therapeutic help as he aged with amazing results.. but we did not have any insurance. When we found our new dog, we knew we wanted to have insurance and I chose Healthy Paws. Well, Finn (new dog) has had a TON of issues. Skin, ear, bladder stones, nasal bacterial infections, and an ongoing cough to name a few. Healthy Paws has been beyond amazing. I feel bad that we have received so much more $$ benefits than we have paid in... not even close. They are quick to review and authorize invoices and have not refused to approve a procedure yet. It is comforting to know that Finn will get the care he needs. So glad I chose Healthy Paws and recommend to ALL my friends with pets.

Nothing but canned responses

In addressing the recent interaction with Healthy Paws, I am compelled to express my profound disappointment in their handling of customer concerns. The company’s response, both via email and over the phone, appeared to be a standardized, boilerplate reply, clearly crafted to align with HR guidelines rather than address the specifics of customer grievances. The email I received bore the subject “Action Needed,” yet, paradoxically, led to the unilateral cancellation of my policy without any required action on my part. This experience raises serious questions regarding the integrity of Healthy Paws and their commitment to service, especially for long-standing customers. It is crucial for all policyholders, particularly those with aging pets, to be aware of the potential disparities in treatment and the inequities that may arise as a result. This situation underscores a worrying trend in the company’s customer service practices that deserves scrutiny and public awareness.
