No live person in the claims department
My dog had ACL surgery which was covered but not the vet visit prior (which included office visit, x-rays, pain medications, etc. which was over $400). I called to ask which physical therapy was covered and they could not answer that until my dog had the PT and I filed a new claim. I asked to speak to the claims dept and was told there isn't a live human being in the dept to speak to. What? Then how do you determine what is covered and what isn't? There are numerous types of therapy I just want to know which ones are covered. I was told my dog has to have the PT and after I send a final bill (Lord only knows how much that will be) then they will tell me if it is covered. Not cool.
