Excellent insurance plan and customer service
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for both of our dogs for over 15 years. The customer service is excellent and the reimbursement process is easy and efficient. We strongly recommend this insurance to pet owners.

Excellent vet care
The staff were ready when I arrived and took my dog immediately back and began care. They did so much, so fast, that my dog had a great outcome. I was allowed to come back and visit with him once they had started stabilizing him, despite that fact there was a lot going on-this helped me leave him overnight knowing he was in good hands. His regular vet even called to follow up a few days later. I feel like they put human healthcare to shame-so much compassion and caring. So thankful for them!

Healthy Paws has been extremely great
Healthy Paws has been extremely great, will all my French Bulldogs health issues. I have a 7 year old frenchie that has had breathing issues and a 9 year old frenchie that has a mast cell tumor. They have never questioned any of our invoices we have submitted. I would highly recommend them.
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
