Pet insurance is worth it!

One of the best decisions I made was to purchase pet insurance for my furry companion. My pet has been in and out of the vets office for most of this year and I am grateful that I can focus on his health while healthy paw insurance covers the majority of the expense. My only regret is not having signed up for pet insurance sooner.

Been a customer for 6 years and never…

Been a customer for 6 years and never really had to use the service and kinda felt bad about paying for it. Then my dog contracted Glaucoma and I am sooo glad I had Healthy Paws. Had about 7-8 visits and an operation. The claims were easy to submit and the reimbursement was quite speedy. I waited about a month until everything was managed and submitted at once. I’ve technically still paid more for the insurance than my disbursements (lol). But the peace of mind is worth it

No Haggle...JUST RESULTS!

There's a lot of insurance companies out there I manage a large Veterinary Hospital I recommend healthy Paws to everyone my experience with this company has been great they look at your claims and send you back whatever you have coming in a fast time

It’s pretty sad when the insurance…

It’s pretty sad when the insurance company pick because of its coverage lowers your rate when your animal turns eight years old because they cannot afford to do it. Bad business on your part I’ve let everyone know that they should not subscribe to Healthy Paws when they get a new pet. I’m in the animal industry and people always ask me what insurance and I will not be recommending your insurance company.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
