Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog became very ill, vomiting, falling over and very lethargic. After an entire day at the vet getting multiple tests and IV fluids, he was much better. However, the bill was over $500. Healthy Paws processed my claim within 2 days and sent me an e-mail informing me of how much I was being reimbursed, as well as a follow up e-mail to see how he was doing. I have had another insurance previously, and I have to say that I am extremely impressed about the service that we received and the ease at submitting the claim. I am very glad that I switched to Healthy Paws, and I would strongly recommend them to others.

Diezel, my four year-old German Shepherd was recently in Intensive Care with aspiration Pneumonia .For eight days he had to remain on Oxygen, had to be on high doses of antibiotics, and under round the clock care. Needless to say all of this got very expensive very quickly! When we first brought home our little Shih Tzu puppy I though it would be a good idea to get some pet insurance. Several of our pet-owning friends were unfortunate enough to be faced with large, unexpected vet bills and yy wife and I had both just recovered from serious illnesses. Not only did Healthy Paws pay our claims quickly and in full, they also seemed genuinely interested in our little dog's recovery. A fair price and superb customer service. What more could you ask for!

The Healthy Paws Insurance was helpful in getting my claim processed. It was not an easy endeavor, but in the end it did finally get completed. Documents were requested and delivered expeditiously on my end, and yet still more items kept on being requested. It was very aggravating as I am a person that like to be told what is missing the first time so that it can be supplied only once.

Benni ate an entire tennis ball while I chased her around the park. It was of course a weekend so Urgent Care. When the vet asked about x-rays, emetics etc., I trusted my new Healthy Paws (untried at the time), Insurance and said to do what was best for Benni. The insurance was paid as promised when I signed up, in a few weeks, and my dog was inquired about by Healthy Paws. I'm very pleased at this point with the no hassle, just as expected, reimbursement.
