Healthy Paws really cares!

I used Healthy Paws for the last 7 years with my rescue Golden, Kayley. They were a very reliable and caring company. My claims were handled promptly and when my deductible was reached, payments were also made in a very timely manner. The customer service staff was always friendly and helpful. They most impressed me recently when Kayley became ill and they sent emails asking about her status. When she passed, they sent more supportive emails and helped me close out our account so easily. I was also quite surprised to receive a hand written note understanding my loss. I heartily recommend them!

Easy - hassle free

Healthy Paws processed our claim within ten days and we had the reimbursement check in the mail shortly thereafter (1-2 days). For what was already a very stressful time with a trip to the emergency vet and overnight surgery, Healthy Paws handled our claim smoothly and did not add any anxiety or stress. I would recommend them to a friend.

Healthy Paws reviewed our claim within the ten days and even gave periodic updates throughout that time as it was being processed. The reimbursement check came in the mail quickly. Healthy Paws also followed up via email to check in on our dog.

Healthypaw is the best insurance service ever!

Healthypaws is a lifesaver! I am so glad we have healthypaws insurance since my dog Max was 7 weeks old. He is 3.5 years old. So far, Max had two major surgeries with broken legs and lots of bladder stones in addition to stomach aches, eye pain, torn toe pads, etc etc... Every time we send invoices, they take care of it in a few days and deposit so quickly. Cant' ask for better service and care! Thank you, Healthypaws!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
