Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We have been with Healthy Paws for almost 5 years. To be honest, our rates have gone up quite a lot since the beginning, but we are are so grateful that we have insurance with Healthy Paws! We can always chose what we think is the best and healthiest thing for Honey rather than focus on what is the least expensive route. Healthy Paws has always been quite fair in considering our claims and usually we have gotten the funds very quickly. Just recently, our sweet Cavalier King Charles had a broken tooth and needed x-rays, blood work and dental surgery with anesthesia. Healthy Paws covered our claim quickly and without much ado. And, believe it or not, we got an email from the company's owners asking if Honey was doing OK after her surgery! How thoughtful and unexpected! Unfortunately, the vets discovered a heart murmur at that time and we needed an echocardiogram and now we see ourselves faced with more bills and more importantly, more worries and angst about our doggie. We are so lucky that we have Healthy Paws since we have one less HUGE worry- the vet bills- since we know from experience that the company will stand up to their commitment to pet health. Frankly, I feel fortunate that we can choose to get her the best care and it still be affordable. Thank you Healthy Paws! I wish I could give you 10 stars.

I was hesitant to purchase pet insurance, but chose Healthy Paws. Filing my first claim was easy. They responded right away, kept me informed as they reviewed the claim. Payment was received within 7 to 10 days. They even followed up on my Pet’s health. I highly recommend them.

I have 2 rescue dogs and love them. They have had a rough life. I wanted to make sure I gave them the best of everything. With a lot of research I went with Healthy Paws. And I am so happy that we did. They are so sweet to both of them. Never have any issues. My youngest dog had three surgeries before she was 2 years old. My oldest dog had surgery the day before his 5th birthday. All cancer surgeries. Healthy Paws paid within days and even sent emails to check up on them. That’s so sweet. Thanks to them my babies are back to being healthy and even more spoiled. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Healthy Paws has covered not one but two (18 months apart) ACL repair surgeries for our Boxer mix, Zoe. As you can imagine these surgeries were very expensive and stressful for Zoe and our family. They have been checking in to see how Zoe is doing and couldn’t be nicer. They have also covered several other medical issues expeditiously and with no questions asked. Highly recommend Healthy Paws.
