Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws has been absolutely excellent. I began insurance for my dog as soon as I got him at 8 weeks old. He is now almost 5 years old. This is important to get coverage early so all conditions will be covered and not considered underlying. I cannot be more thankful that I did this. My dog's monthly allergy injections- covered. He had a 5 day hospital stay- covered. I have never had one issue with any claim I have submitted. It is extremly easy to submit claims by taking a photo of your invoice and sending it in on the app, the response time is excellent. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Healthy Paws and I have peace of mind knowing I can provide top care for my dog at all times without the stress of major vet bills. I highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance and I will continue to use them for any pets that we add to our family. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!!!!

Thanks to Healthy Paws Pet insurance we’re able to help our dog with his skin issues and get the right medication he needs . It’s easy to file a claim on the app and the payment is quick after they have reviewed the claim and approved it. Outstanding service!

Is a terrible company, i filed a claim more than 2 months ago and still didn’t get resolved, they ask me for more clinical records every time. They are doing everything so hard when it comes to reimburse you money, as long as they get your monthly payment everything is fine but you touch their pockets is when the hard part comes. Stay away from these people

My husband and I made the choice to go with Healthy Paws a little over five years ago when we purchased our mini Poodle. We researched many different companies before making our final decision. We have not regretted our decision even once over the years. The first 4 years Samson was very healthy, but this past year things changed quickly. Samson developed cataracts on both eyes that progressed very quickly. Thanks to Healthy Paws insurance we were able to afford surgery to remove both cataracts. Samson had a complication with his left eye resulting in Retinal Detachment. Again, we were able to see an Ophthalmologist that specializes in reattachment (one of 5 in the world that does this) because we had Pet Insurance that would pay a large percentage of the procedure. The costs of these surgery’s plus check ups were around $8000. We paid very little out of pocket. We would highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance. They paid each claim without hesitation. I am so thankful for the peace of mind that the insurance offers so that my Samson can always receive the best of care without worry of cost.

They always process my claims within 3-4 days at the very most, sometimes it's the next day. The ease of submitting a claim is outstanding. You don't have to have your veterinarian fill out a claim, you can just have them email you the pet records and upload with an invoice-and that's it! The customer service is outstanding!. I've had my Chihuahua insured with Healthy Paws for a few years and in the last two years he developed congestive heart failure and started having seizures. He was very sick recently and was referred to a Neurologist, and Healthy Paws emailed me to ask if he was going to be ok and asked me to follow up with them on his progress, then they paid the claims right away. I really can't say enough good things about this company. I've tried another pet insurance company with another dog I have, just because it was a little bit cheaper per month, and they did mental gymnastics to try and get out of paying for a claim. So I dropped them and signed my other dog up with Healthy Paws, you really do get what you pay for!!! I've NEVER had any issues with claims or payments, and I recommend them to everyone who has a pet they love.
