HealthyPaws rocks!

I'm a bit of techie with very little time in my schedule for my personal to-do list, but HP's website made it fast and simple to buy the coverage for my 2 year old Westie named Lulu! Aside from the price being competitive and coverage being good, the other big factor in my decison was their Foundation programs that help promote and fund pet adoption which if you love pets, you know how much these efforts are needed. Keep up the great work!!

Healthy Paws Inspires Trust!

We recently enrolled with Healthy Paws and were so impressed to find a company that treated us so special. When we were enrolling our dog, Bentley, we found their customer service group to be very informative and friendly, clearly outlining everything that was covered along with those things that were not covered. They went out of their way to make sure that we understood what we were getting. There were no pushy sales tactics, just people that really cared about Bentley and us being protected. We hope that Bentley is never sick and never has to use this insurance but if something bad happens we trust that they'll be there for us.

Healthy Paws is AMAZING!

We recently got our adorable little puppy and very soon found out that the costs really started adding up with each vet visit. We are so so happy that we found Healthy Paws! While each of our vet visits have been adding up to between $200 - 300, we found that in a matter of one vet visit we had already managed to pay the annual deductible and gotten a very prompt email letting us know that we had a check in the mail for the remaining 90% that was covered. The insurance has more than paid for itself and it is amazing to have the peace of mind that we aren't breaking the bank every time we have to take our puppy in for another one of his many episodes (eating something he isn't supposed to or other issues that develop with age). Also, we have heard of so many people who have paid tens of thousands because they have a dog with cancer or one that has been in a car accident. It makes me feel much better that I won't have to make the choice between my life's savings and my dog's health/life... all for less than I pay monthly for my cell phone bill! So so happy again that we found Healthy Paws! It is nice to know that there is a prompt friendly service like this one that rewards people for being contentious pet owners. Thanks guys! :)

Professional and Caring

A few years ago, my husband and I went to an "adopt-a-thon" at our local shelter and came home with Ernie - a loud and fiesty black and white spotted cat. New to pet ownership, we didn't even think about pet insurance. A few months after we brought him home, Ernie's curiosity sent him to the emergency room with a broken front leg. We knew we would do whatever we needed to to help Ernie get better but we were amazed at how much it cost us! This sent us on the hunt for pet insurance. There are many options out there but we were drawn to Healthy Paws because not only did they offer affordable and thorough coverage but we loved the company's commitment to working with shelters and helping animals to find homes. I have also been very impressed with Healthy Paws' customer service. Based on my own experiences and those of my family and friends who are also insured with them, it is clear that the focus of Heathy Paws is really on the health and happiness of animals and their families. It is a comfort to know we will be taken care of should our crazy kitty decide to use up another of those nine lives!

Healthy Paws keeps its promises!!!

Quite unexpectedly I ended up rescuing my little Ziggy in September who was destined for certain euthanization because he tested positive for heart worms. A couple of weeks later, I got an email from advertising the relatively new HealthyPaws insurance. Many years ago, an experience with pet insurance was horrendous, so I was wary, but on a whim I decided to obtain a quote, which I found to be reasonable. After talking with a representative, who was upfront and honest about coverage and pre-existing conditions for Ziggy and my other dog, Foxie, I decided to give it a try. And I am SO glad I did! Ziggy developed a lump above his elbow only about 2 months later, and it was diagnosed as mast cell cancer. Jen from HealthyPaws has been absolutely wonderful and answered any and all of my questions. I was assured that his care and treatment - whatever that would be - would be covered. Today, 1/03/11, less than 3 weeks following the initial discovery, I have received reimbursement for all expenses at the 80% rate I opted for when I signed up. I can't say enough good about this company! Best of all? The prognosis is great for Ziggy! I am so very glad I can consider only Ziggy's well-being and not finances - thanks to HealthyPaws!
