I have coverage for two dogs and one cat. One of my dogs and my cat have rarely (if ever) used the coverage, HOWEVER - my second dog was diagnosed with cancer at only a 1.5 years old. I never had to consider cost when choosing the best possible care for him. Filing claims was easy, and I was paid quickly. An amazing organization with a huge heart!
My Healthy Paws experience has been wonderful. This is a truly reputable organization that cares for its customers and their furry companions. They are quick to process claims and stand by their word. I even received a very nice email from Tim Weiss, a Claws and Paws Protector checking in on my pup. Five Satisfied Stars for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance from me! At the time my four year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with Bladder Stones, Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was there for us! The claim for her care, prescriptions and surgery was promptly processed and I couldn't be happier. Their team also reached out to me to follow up on my dog's recovery and progress! They have always been courteous with regard to any questions; but I didn't even have any because it all went so smoothly. This is my first pet to have had veterinary health coverage and I am very pleased to state that I did not have to concern myself at such a stressful time with the costs of my dog's required care.---Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was true to their word and helped us out tremendously! Awesome company
My poor Sydney fractured a tooth. She is only 2 1/2 Years old. It was a large back tooth. My vet wanted to pull it. But Healthy paws was there for me to save the tooth. They paid so I could go to a specialty dentist for pets. She ended up having her tooth bonded and we saved the tooth. Thank you for great coverage and great customer service. They kept me updated every step of the way. So worth it!! The bill was $1400 and I got $950 back !! Such a help.

I must say, Healthy Paws saved my dogs life. This pet insurance company is the most awesome company EVER!!!. They are wonderful on the phones, the people answering them and answering your questions...they are so incredibly helpful. They are pretty much always there for you. They are so quick in receiving vet invoices and viewing them and sending you your check. SO QUICKLY. I am in awe of Healthy Paws. The best company ever. My doggie "Jazzy" had a torn ACL last year, that was $6,000.00 and Healthy Paws paid 90%. And Jazzy tore the other ACL 3 weeks ago and the bill was over $4,000.00. And Healthy Paws paid 90%. And quickly. I recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who has an animal. I have been with them for over 5 years and they really care about your pet...send birthday greetings to them, etc. They email to see how your pet is doing, etc. I really don't know why anyone who has a pet would not get pet health insurance. We, the parents of our pets, have insurance, why wouldn't they? They are are family, our babies. You cannot afford NOT to get insurance. Things happen to pets, like humans. Keep them insured so you can afford to have your pets get the best veterinary care possible. It makes me so so sad that some people can't afford vet care for their pets, so they put them to sleep. That causes anxiety and mental stress on the person who has to go to the vet to put their pet to sleep, why???? because you couldn't afford it? And to let go of the one pet you love and cherish and who loves you back unconditionally??? Highly highly recommend Healthy Paws. I love them!!!! They are my security blanket and my pet (Jazzy's) security blanket. You can sleep well knowing that your pet is insured with Healthy Paws. Love them!!

Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
