How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Country Meadows Pet Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Our super spicy cat LOVES Dr. Al-Bassam! So much that he makes us a liar for calling him spicy. The staff are great too. We've always had great service here 🤗 We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet!

Compassionate end of life care for my little dog. The vets were kind and gentle with her and gave me sound quality of life options during a really difficult time. The clinic sent me a beautiful card with lovely personal thoughts from the staff and Dr. Chong.

Horrible experience at this clinic. We brought our dog in this past weekend after he took a stick to the throat at the park. We called at 10am and explained what happened and they told us to bring him in at 1pm. When we got there they administered meds and did x-rays, after doing all of this they then told us they couldn't provide sedation or get good views from the x-rays as they don't have enough staff to handle a large dog (80lb lab) and they close at 3pm, so he should go to emergency. I'm not sure why they took us in the first place, knowing this was a trauma incident with a large dog they had no capacity to handle. Instead they ran a bunch of tests knowing that they couldn't even treat him in their office and then failed to send the imaging to the emergency department, which prolonged his treatment there. When I called and spoke to the manager about this she was incredibly rude and dismissive and of course didn't offer anything to remedy the situation. The bill from this office was the same as the emergency vet, who did sedation, exam and prescribed medication for a week. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this vet office.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for 20 years. I find them to be very trustworthy, honest and am so happy to be able to take my doggies here :)

I have been bringing my cats here for a few years and have always received exceptional care. Dr Catarig always explains in detail and is very thorough. I also appreciate being informed of the potential cost ahead of time. They were very busy during the worst of the pandemic, but made every effort to be responsive and caring under trying conditions. I highly recommend them for your cat.
