Affordable, seamless process, they truly care!
I am so thankful to my old boss who referred me to Healthy Paws. We've had insurance with them since my 7-year-old english bulldog was months old. As Izzy she got older, she had to have ACL surgery, cherry eye surgery, and most recently had her tail amputated and pyometra. Our family has been through a lot this month more than ever. We almost lost her. It's a breath of fresh air knowing that she is recovering well and that we've got our funds reimbursed so quick. I've always had a seamless reimbursement process, and the prices are very affordable compared to other companies. I will be a consumer of this company for a lifetime!

ER visits
My dog had 2 consecutive ER visits for gastrointestinal problems. Healthy Paws processed my invoices within 24 hours. Response time was amazing.

Healthy Paws is an absolute scam
Healthy Paws is an absolute scam. I’ve been a customer for over a decade, and they raise the prices an exorbitant amount every year. When your pet inevitably becomes a senior that needs care, the monthly deductible becomes so high that you ultimately price out and can no longer afford coverage. If you switch to a different provider, then your pets pre existing conditions will no longer be covered. Greedy company.

I am so grateful to have purchased…
I am so grateful to have purchased Healthy Paws Insurance for my pets. I had to take my dog into the emergency the other evening. He had to stay almost 3 days and had many procedures. In the end he is doing AMAZING!! Healthy Paws paid for ALL of what my plan stated it would. You never really know until the time comes. It was such a relief to know that I was covered and could relax and enjoy having my healthy baby back home.
Policy
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
