Best Pet Insurance Hands Down!

Healthy Paws pet insurance is undoubtedly the BEST thing I ever signed up for when I got my three Yorkies! After reading about all the potential health issues Yorkies are prone to, I was convinced that pet insurance was a necessity. Thankfully, I got Healthy Paws when they were just puppies. My oldest Yorkie has had just about every ailment a Yorkie can have including two ACL surgeries, pancreatitis, diabetes, and cataract surgery due to the diabetes to restore her vision. These health issues have amounted to costs in the tens of thousands of dollars. Luckily, with a 90% Healthy Paws policy, I never had to say no to a surgery or treatment that I may not have been able to afford without pet insurance. The monthly premium payments are very reasonable and do not increase based on claims. Claims are super easy to submit in the app with just a picture and a few clicks. Also, payments on claims typically only take a few days and can be directly deposited into your bank account. My fur baby will need insulin injections and prescription eye drops for the rest of her life, but these items are covered (including the syringes) by Healthy Paws. I am so thankful for Healthy Paws and the peace of mind it has given me. I can now look forward to many more healthy years with my precious fur babies. Do not hesitate if you are on the fence. watch for the bump

I have always had a good experience with healthy paws though I never used them much. I have been with them about 10 years and paid about 11k in premiums with use only one time. Then when my dog turned 12 and might start needing a vet more my rate went from 120.00 to 360.00 a month.I can't afford that its more then my health insurance. I realize as dog gets older they need more care but to triple the rate and not to mention the premiums I paid for 10 years seems a little to much for me

One of our dogs has lymphoma so the bills for treatment stack up quickly. Filing a claim is easy with the app. Claims are paid quickly and deposited to my account. It is great to not stress about the bills and insurance and be able to focus on keeping our dog comfortable.

Healthy Paws pet insurance has allowed…

Healthy Paws pet insurance has allowed us to make sure our pup gets all the care she needs. She has extreme allergies and has had skin issues requiring surgeries recently. The rates are reasonable & the coverage is great. So easy to submit claims and reimbursement is direct deposit to my bank account in less than a week.

My cat Lupin suddenly had an acute…

My cat Lupin suddenly had an acute urinary obstruction, which is a life threatening emergency. We first went to a vet urgent care and it took them 6 hours to unblock his obstruction. We then had to take him to a hospital for 36 hour monitoring, which is needed because the chance of reconstruction is highest in this period. Needless to say, this was all very unexpected. And VERY expensive. I am so grateful we had Healthy Paws for Lupin, and they were able to reimburse 80% of his urgent care and hospital cost. If you love your pet and want them to be with you for as long as possible, getting pet health insurance is a MUST. It's extremely worth investing in a good company for your pet as soon as possible, because if you have to switch later for whatever reason, pre-existing conditions will become an issue. I'm really grateful I chose Healthy Paws early on and they have been so helpful when emergencies like this happen.
