Diabetes Diagnosis
I took my wonderful cat to the vet with an issue of him peeing outside the box. Expecting a diagnosis of “he’s all fine just a weird cat” like normal, and a relatively cheap vet bill, it was unfortunately a very different situation. After an examination of urine and blood it was shown that my poor baby had diabetes. I was presented with a vet bill of $1.4K, and then an additional follow up appointment quote for 1.1k. With his Ketone at the level they were I was also presented the possibility of an emergency vet visit in the chance he got ketoacidosis, which could have ran me close to 10k. This is a total that immediately sent me into a panic, but I showed the vet I had pet insurance and I was holding it together until she read that EVERYTHING would be covered through my insurance. I started crying out of joy knowing that I could get the expensive care my angel needed without a VERY large financial burden on my shoulders. Now me and my kitty are both happy, he has his meds he needs, and instead of vet bills we get to spend that money on SO MANY cat toys.

My initial overall experience with PHI is excellent. Just purchased coverage for my dog. Excellent customer experience. I notice some negative comments in the reviews. People have to understand that the purpose of insurance is to protect you for an unexpected injury or accident not for preexisting medical conditions or excluded conditions. Read the policy people !

I am glad to have Pets Best insurance. We purchased the insurance for our poodle puppy because we know how expensive accidents and illnesses can be. 6 years later, we have had one major claim and several more routine claims. Pets Best has always come through. Claim are easy to file and are paid promptly. We have peace of mind knowing that even with a major claim, we can afford to take care of our pet.

Great Experience for Two Years
I have had Pets Best insurance for two years, and I have consistently had great experiences with the claims process. It’s easy, straightforward, and fast. My most recent claim was processed and paid in less than a week! I have never had to question, dispute, or argue over a claim, which has given me a lot of confidence in having Pets Best for my pet’s insurance needs. I highly recommend Pets Best!
Pets Best Was There When Zoe Needed Them
Having pet insurance is one of those things you hope you never really need, but when something happens, you’re very glad you have it. When Zoe needed veterinary care, I was already worried about her and the last thing I wanted was to also be stressed about the claim process. My experience with Pets Best made that part much easier. Submitting the claim was simple, communication was clear, and everything was handled without adding more stress to an already stressful situation. Zoe is a huge part of our family, so being able to focus on taking care of her instead of worrying about whether her claim would be a battle meant a lot to me. The whole experience gave me a lot more confidence in having Pets Best coverage for her. You never really know how good insurance is until you actually have to use it. In our case, I was very thankful we had it when Zoe needed us to. ❤️

Annual Coverage for Bella
Bella is my moyen poodle. She is now 8 years old and we have been with Pets Best for that entire time. I am always pleased with the service when I submit a claim and I have never had an issue. It give a lot of comfort to know that if she has a health issue that we can get it resolved without a worry as to the cost as we already know our portion with Pets Best."

I signed all of my pets up for the accident coverage insurance plan after we got our Great Dane/Mastiff puppy. We had one of our other dogs get bit by a rattlesnake a few years ago, and I wish we would have had insurance then. Only a month and a half (if that) after I signed up, my 4 1/2 month puppy ingested a chunk of a dog toy. We went through surgery, in and out of ER for 4-5 days, only to end up with him septic and having to make the devastating decision to put him down, not even 5 months old. Pets Best came through big time. They reimbursed at the 90% after our deductible on all of the emergency vet bills. We could not be more grateful for that huge financial weight off our shoulders while also grieving our puppy. They even canceled puppy's policy for us once everything was processed through knowing he had not made it. Another "to-do" I didn't need to worry about. Thank you so much Pets Best!
