Hassle Free Coverage
I have been using Pets Plus Us for the last 8 years. Owning large breed dogs can be very costly (a Newfoundland and a Bernese Mountain Dog) and having this insurance gives me the security of knowing that if something goes wrong, I have insurance to cover costs. I have always fount this company professional and easy to deal with (I wish my own health carrier was this professional and reliable!)

we picked up our puppy from the breeder and the next day she had issues.The breeder provided 30 days coverage thru Trupanion as long as you activated the policy within 24 hours which we did. She had a 6 hour drive,was exposed to a new environment and the first time away from her pack. She had diareha and we and the breeder weren't concerned..not unusual due to all the changes and stress she went thru. This continued for a day or 2 and we took her to a pet hospital. They declined the claim saying it was a pre existing condition. Beware of insurance company definitions. To me, I'm not a dr, vomiting, a headache, diareha etc are SYMPTOMS of something and that is why you go to the vet. It is NOT a pre exisiting condition (it existed before you went to the vet!!!). If your pet has some symptoms and you take it the vet it won't be covered...because its a pre exiting condition....really!

Pet Insurance - Golden Retriever
We never had pet insurance for our pets until we got a new golden retriever puppy this year and the breeder recommended we should. After some research we ended up going with Spot and have been very pleased with how friendly they are and the ease of reimbursements. I wish we had learned about pet insurance sooner!!
