Highly Recommend for Accident Prone Puppies
Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver for our family, I wouldn’t own a pet without it. I recently had to take my dog in for Emergency Care for ingesting ibuprofen, and she needed a 3 day stay including medication for her after care. Not having to question how to pay for the care she needed was huge. It was so easy to upload the invoice to start a claim through the app, and it was processed within 2 days, with constant communication. The customer care team even followed up to see how she was doing. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for their ease of use, care, and quick processing and reimbursement.

Trupanion is the Best
Trupanion is the Best. My puppy has been diagnosed with Collapse Trachea. They approve my claims in less then 24 hours. Money in my bank 48 hours later. Very grateful for this fabulous company! Thank you Cindy

I have been a customer of pets best for almost a week so far and the quality of service (including the smooth claim process) is awesome. I did use the wellness package so far and the claim reimbursement process is very fast and convenient.

Poor claim communications
Our claim kept on getting delayed for more information. If I wasn’t diligent in follow up I would have never known. There was *no* communication from the company to me about what was needed. Only my calls to customer service and insistence that I speak to someone further up the chain resolved the issues. Deeply disappointed. After years of paying premiums for our dog (and cat) our first claim in 7 years was a circus. Now we are stuck with them, for better or worse, because of the universal pre-existing clauses in all per policies. Caveat Emptor.

This insurance does not cover any of the typical expenses. It is very confusing and misleading. They don't call you back.
I submitted over a $1,000 expense and after two months was told that none of the charges qualify for reimbursement. Out of the $1,000 claim, only $80 is applicable towards deductible. I tried calling, and after waiting on the phone for a hour, had to hang up. I have left two messages and no call back. I'm very dissatisfied with this transaction and ask that you cancel this policy immediately. Masoud Sepahi 949-375-6599.

Just good to have a back-up resource!
Yes, I always recommend Trupanion to friend getting new pets. Not much to say about this recent submission, which was a test of my cat’s stool which was soft and smelly. The stool sample came back as negative for parasites. Whatever it was passed, and the next day my cat was back to normal. The claim for the test was rejected by Trupanion, but I had the vet submit anyway just in case it turned out to be a problem that needed treatment. So far, both my cats are pretty healthy. I advocate for pet insurance because when cats & dogs get older they usually need expensive medical treatments. I am hoping that Trupanion will help blunt such expenses when my cats are elderly.
