Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver…
Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver (literally) for our sweet little pug, Rosie. We got her as a puppy and thankfully we chose healthy paws as our pet insurance. Within her first year she had a major seizure and was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis. She has an excellent neurologist who has been able to keep her seizures under control with lots of medications but it is VERY expensive. We call Rosie our million dollar pug — she almost 3 years old and still living a happy, nearly seizure-free life thanks to Healthy Paws. I recommend them to everyone I know! Their customer service is excellent and it’s so easy to submit claims and get reimbursed. I wish my own health insurance was this good!

I’m happy with this claim. I’m still not happy with the decision that my insurance wasn’t in effect when we first saw the vet after adopting her in 2013. I had checked on the effective date before booking our appt but was told after they could find no record of this.
