False advertising and dishonest.
I purchased insurance for our dog & our daughters dog. When it came time to actually use the insurance in both cases after weeks of processing we were told that both dogs had pre existing conditions which was not true. In both cases they paid out very little if anything for our claims. I / we find them very dishonest to deal with. Will never buy insurance from them again. Buyer beware !

Thank God for Trupanion
Thank God for Trupanion! I took my daughter's cat to the vet because he was sick, and thanks to Trupanion we could get him the best medical care around. Will definitely recommend to all pet owners, definitely worth it. It was a $4600 bill and they were true to their policy and covered the 90%, people need to know this is for emergencies only, and not intended for continuous care that is the owner's responsibility in the first place.

unfortunately I have had 2 claims for my new kitten if it hadn't been for trupanion with their empathy compassion and quick response - I'm not sure I'd ever feel secure financially having any companion (pet) in the future.

Everyone deserves a Stephanie :)
The woman I spoke with (Stephanie) while setting up Doug's insurance was so very friendly, kind and extremely helpful. She informed me of everything I needed to know and also suggested the most appropriate options for what I needed for my dog and breed. I didn't feel doubtful or questioned whether or not what Doug would be covered for and I walked away from the call with all confidence that I had everything that I needed. I wish I knew who to contact in order to request that Stephanie receive some sort of Employee Appreciation/Acknowledgement for her impeachable customer service. Thank you Stephanie!! If only everyone treated clients with your degree of kindness and impeachable service.
