I am outraged

I am outraged! I have been a long term customer since 2013 and they raised my rate from $67.03 to $152.75. In times like these they choose to take advantage of people?! Their lack of empathy and honesty is disgusting! Flat out UNETHICAL!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

Pet insurance has become just as bad as all other insurance

I am over it. I pay about $150 a month for my 2 dogs. Have FULL on my small dog and yet my $700 bill because her teeth needed pulled or she would have horrible infections of course is not covered. My advice is put money away each month in a separate account of your own and you would be much better off.........and in the end, if you have any left over, it is yours instead of gone. I have done the math and I have thrown away a ton of money for some time now. So very unhappy

Surgical coverage with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for many years and several pets. My dog Ziggy recently suffered a torn knee ligament which required surgical repair. Healthy Paws provided excellent coverage and were very efficient and caring in their processing of my claim. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. They are a great company who really provides a fantastic service to their customers and their pets.

I highly recommend Healthy Paws!!!

I have had my Black Labrador on Healthy Paws Pet Insurance since she was two years old. Though she was extremely healthy, I purchased the insurance because labs are active and have accidents. Five years went by until I needed to use the policy. My dog was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease and the meds are rather expensive. Healthy Paws paid 80% of the cost of the blood tests and the medicine after I satisfied the $250 deductible. Then, this year, my dog tore ligaments in her calcaneal tendon. Since the repair and treatment would cost over $6,000, I called Healthy Paws and asked if I needed a pre-approval. The representative told me that a pre-approval was not necessary and all I had to do was submit the vet invoices. As with other claims, Healthy Paws paid 80% of the surgery and treatment costs. It is easy to submit the invoices—I scan mine and use the website, but one can take a picture of the invoice using the Healthy Paws app to submit a claim as well. I am very thankful that I signed up my lab for Healthy Paws when she was younger. I shopped for policies when I was looking several years ago and Healthy Paws provided the best coverage for the price that fit my needs.

Surgery Claim

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for many years covering several pets. My dog Ziggy recently had surgery to repair a knee ligament tear. I can't say enough about their coverage, efficiency, and caring. They are the best and I would recommend them highly to anyone seeking coverage for their pet. I have never had a problem of any kind with Healthy Paws

Peace of Mind!

When we adopted Luna 4+ years ago, we were not sure should we take the insurance. Today I will yell from the mountaintops that this was the best decision I ever made! We love our little fur baby so much and having Trupanion coverage is so reassuring and comforting. We have complete peace of mind when making the best health decision for her. Thank you Trupanion for excellent customer service and support. We know we are doing the best for our little Luna!

Worst compagny ever

At first, I thought Sonnet Insurance was incredible because of how easy and low the price was. Now, I think this compagny is a scam. They have the worst services ever. Price goes up every year regardless if you use the insurance or not. They cancel subscription without notices and at the same time, impacted your files. You never have calls back from them. I am now with another compagny and thank god because I would not want to be insure by them if anything happened. I prefer to pay a little more but to have a great service and be correctly paid after a problems. Nothing is better than the peace of mind. Also, they do not respect the civil code, we need to take legal proceedings for them to honor their responsabilities. Don't get me wrong, I pay very well my obligations, imagine if I was not. After, two years being insured with them, I am now relieved of them.

Worthwhile

Very good coverage, and fast. Definitely worth it for a senior pet, before problems arise. But it is expensive, and you can't sign up a pet older than 14.

Yes I am giving Healthy Paws a bad…

Yes I am giving Healthy Paws a bad review. Several things: #1 probably my fault, I dropped my dogs to go to Nationwide for the dental. Then I found out that they would not accept one of my 2 dogs due to pancreatitis. So I added them back to Healthy Paws. The rate increased because I was insuring dogs at their current age. They did not honor the fact that they were gone for a matter of days. #2 They neglected to focus on the Vet invoice and just reimbursed for one dog. #3 For the past several years they keep holding me up by asking for vet records, one dog at a time. #4 Every time I submit glucosamine charges, it's always for Jackson. This time they got confused. The claims section states that they are waiting for more documents on Ami. They did not state what they needed. I submitted on 8/3. It's now 8/25 and I finally was able to reach them in their time zone. They stated Ami's name was missing on the Glucosamine receipt. IT IS NOT FOR AMI, JACKSON ONLY, AS ALWAYS. I have had Healthy Paws for 10 years now. They have gone down hill for the past several years. Oh, #5 all of a sudden my rate increased. I called and asked why. They answered that other dogs are using the insurance more. WHAT?? My pancreatitis dog has never used Healthy Paws for pancreatitis. My dogs go for wellness and dental which is not covered. They have used it for holistic and the emergency room for an extreme reaction to flea/tick shots. Pancreatitis dog is a rescue dog. We took her to the ER several times due to her, it looked like to us, freaking out. Healthy Paws gets their $228.10/mo on time through auto pay. I would expect the same on time reimbursement payment, which does not happen anymore.
