Cautiously optimistic
Sign up was clunky, monthly pricing is high compared to other insurance. Hopefully proves worth it

Pets "worst" insurance
This is the worst pet insurance company I have ever had. They deny every claim and say it's pre existing. I had a 9 year old dog that had a gastropexy procedure while being spay. I knew that spaying wasn't covered but what happened after the surgery is what gets me. She became very sick, vomiting, diarrhea and wouldn't eat. Took her to the vet and she was treated for dehydration and sent home with fluids and meds. After continuing to be sick and losing weight she went back to the vet for more fluids and now blood work. Vet said due to the gastropexy and manipulation of her starch with the procedure he treated her for pancreatitis. Pets worst denied the claim and said it was pre existing. There is no way it was pre existing as most dogs die within days of untreated pancreatitis. I even had my vet write them a letter. They told me I could file an appeal which I did. This was back in April. It is now August and it's still under review. If you are lucky enough to get reimbursed it takes forever to receive it. Steer clear of this company, not worth it.

I can highly recommend ManyPets!
For years, we had used another pet insurance company and had been relatively happy with their service. But, a few months ago, when we adopted a Siamese cat from our local animal shelter, I reviewed what was currently available and found better coverage and a less expensive monthly fee from ManyPets. The first ManyPets representative I contacted made sure to let me know that they would be taking a little longer to pay claims than our previous company, but the time difference wasn't a problem for us. We did have several claims (both medical and preventative) and ManyPets paid each in a reasonable time, without issue. I was also impressed that whenever I called, I was quickly greeted with a "live" representative and not a recording which left my call on a long "hold." Sadly, we had our Siamese only about three months and because of both physical and behavioral issues, had to put her to sleep. We received a check for the euthanasia and cremation costs in just a FEW DAYS after I submitted the invoice - I can't imagine any other pet insurance company paying the full amount and that quickly! Today, we received a hand-written note of sympathy from one of the ManyPets representatives, which was a nice final touch (though I had a difficult time not breaking down, while reading it). We are already looking for another cat and will be back with ManyPets, as soon as we adopt another cat! Thank you so much!

I definitely recommend Trupanion pet insurance …
I definitely recommend Trupanion pet insurance. My GSD is 2 1/2 now & has been insured by them since she was just a few months old. She has had many health issues due to her “puppy mill” type breeding, including epilepsy & behavior issues. She also has pretty severe separation anxiety & skin allergies. She’s my expensive rescue, but we rescued each other. She has almost broken her nose escaping from a wire kennel & did break a lower canine tooth when she was boarded, which I won’t be using that place EVER AGAIN, & don’t leave her usually anywhere at this point. She did have to get a root canal done in that tooth!! Very $$$, but having Trupanion helped make it more affordable. If you decide to get Trupanion for your companion & want to use Bailey & Ann as a reason, that’s great. The insurance I have is pretty comprehensive due to her ongoing health issues, but I would be so much more worried if I didn’t have this insurance. They also cover her epilepsy medication with a small co-pay, which she takes every day. 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

We have had coverage for five years
We have had coverage for five years, and currently have plans for three pets. We've encountered only a couple of issues, and those issues were promptly addressed and resolved to our satisfaction. The ease of submitting a claim and receiving reimbursement as a direct deposit removes much of the stress and worry involved with vet visits and illnesses. I truly wish we had discovered Pets Best years prior to when we did.
