Trupanion Lives Up to Its Name and Reputation
We selected Trupanion after reviewing all of the Pet Insurance providers... they were rated as the TOP market and based on our recent experience, I can honestly say that a 5 star rating might be too low! Our dog recently broke his leg and we had to scramble for emergency visits with his vet and surgery to fix the issues. Sending the claims information to Trupanion was incredibly easy. Their review of the claim was quick and their claims resolution was exactly as anticipated. They issued the reimbursement check to us quickly - they would have paid the Vet directly but they were not part of the Trupanion program. I work in insurance and claims service is where the rubber meets the road! Did we buy a useless piece of paper or true insurance... you can believe that with Trupanion you are buying REAL coverage! Thank you Trupanion!!

I dont really know what to say except Sonnet is by far easiest company to deal with, because you dont really have to do anything, they do it all, all online too which is fantastic, I recommend them to all my friends and family, and even the odd stranger too haha, so great job Sonnet, keep up the great work.

Healthy Paws has exceeded our…
Healthy Paws has exceeded our expectations in every way. We decided to get pet insurance for our bernedoodle puppy, who is now only 3 years old. Despite a perfect puppyhood, she ruptured the dog equivalent of our ACL in the spring and required surgery and physical therapy to repair it. Then just a few weeks ago, for no apparent reason, she became ill and required a trip to the nearby emergency vet. We were told she had experienced a toxin to her liver. That ultimately entailed a stay at the incredible CSU Veterinary Hospital in Northern Colorado. It was devastating to imagine losing such an important and much-loved part of our family, and fortunately thanks to Healthy Paws, the financial impact did not have to determine whether or not we could keep her and enjoy many years ahead together. We were able to provide her the care she needed to recover and is back to romping and cuddling. Both of these were completely unforeseen accidents in an otherwise super healthy dog. Again, thanks again, Healthy Paws!!

Outstanding Assitance
It was a tough time when our dog "Cooper" had a major CCL tear and had to go thru surgery. When I contacted Trupanion about the Insurance options, they made it so easy with clear explanations and an easy claim form. The check was issued immediately after submitting the claim form. No hassles at all and amazing customer experience. Thank you, guys!

Excellent Insurance and Excellent Customer Service
Trupanion was recommended to us by a friend who used to sell pet insurance in her prior career. She did not work for Trupanion, just understood their benefits from having to compete with them. She said they were the best - and they are! We are very happy with their customer service, ease of use (submitting claims) and the turn around time of claim payment. We 100% HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We have had Trupanion for 9+ years for our cat and our dog. We have given thanks so many times that we had Trupanion. It gave us the peace of mind that we could do whatever needed to be done for their health. Both of them passed this year and Trupanion was with us every step of the way.

Horrible experience with Healthy Paws
Horrible experience with Healthy Paws. As a patron who was using healthy paws for my smaller dog and Embrace for my larger dogs, I can not even compare the difference. I had Healthy Paws insurance for over 2 years, never needed to actually use the insurance. When I finally needed to place a claim it was nothing but a nightmare. Healthy Paws took two weeks to review and then wrongfully deny the claim and then took 4 more weeks to "review" the claim to only uncover that they were mistaken. Then charged me extra because they said I took too long to get my dogs surgery done after they made me wait 6 weeks to get her claim approved. I cancelled my membership and will be switching this dog to embrace as well. Who approves valid claims, has respectful customer service and doesn't make comments such as "well, you have a lot of notes on your account to go through". Spend your money elsewhere.
