So apparently, for Pets Best to reimburse cleanings and extractions, my elderly dog has to be put under anesthesia every 13 months for a dental exam. How is that not risky? Not to mention, it’s outrageously expensive and the reimbursement barely covers anything — if at all. What a scam! Shame on you! And Pets Worst would be a more appropriate name for you.

Met life is there for me. I had PetsFirst but since Metlife took over the claim process is easier and the policies are customizable for your individual pet needs. I have 6 pets insured and that gives me peace of mind.

I just got a new puppy and wanted insurance for peace of mind and his health. After looking at many options, Trupanion stood out. I liked that I didn’t have to bundle a wellness package since you always have to budget for annual vet fees anyway. Being able to choose my own deductible made it fit my budget, and I was comfortable with the monthly fee since I selected the unlimited coverage option. When I used the live chat feature, the customer service representative was amazing—informative, quick to respond, and even caught some missing information, which she updated for me on the spot. I also really like the direct pay option, and I’m happy to see there are vets in my area that accept it. So far, it’s been a great experience—I just hope they continue to hold up their end of the agreement!
