Easy and fast claim process
I have filed several claims throughout my dog’s cancer treatment. It’s super easy to file online or through the app. You answer a couple of questions and upload a receipt.
They give you a timeframe of 5 weeks for the claim but it’s usually faster than that. All my claims (between July and November 2023) have been reviewed, approved and paid out within 2 to 3 weeks.
Pets Best have literally been a life saver. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance.

If you are looking at getting insurance. Look no further. Nationwide has been the best insurance and best decision I could have made for my English bulldogs life. The claims are easy to submit and I couldn’t be happier.

Exceptional coverage
I was skeptical about getting a pet insurance thinking that when I need to file a claim it will be a frustrating experience and a headache to get any claim approved. I was impressed how easy it was and the refunds were fair and as promised when I first registered.

Best Experience I've Ever Had With an Insurance Company
Anyone who knows Corgi's, knows they can be a bit high maintenance. Ear infections, swallowing objects, orthopedic issues, allergies, you name it. Our Corgi Cash is doing great, but has had some significant medical issues over the past several years. Each time I have submitted a claim to Healthy Paws, they have quickly approved and issued funds without any resistance (thousands of dollars). It makes the decision of getting Cash the help he needs so easy when I know Healthy Paws is there to support us. I'll be a Healthy Paws customer for life.

Shocking insurance company
This insurance company spends so much money on advertising and telling you to refer your friends but needs to spend more on the actual claim handlers. So far I’ve i been waiting just short of 4 months, for a large claim submitted. I’ve tried chasing it up, it’s so difficult to get through to them on the phone and when you do nothing actually happens.
I’ve had my claim queried because our vets have our dog recorded as ‘dachshund’ whereas I noted him as a ‘miniature dachshund’ COME ON! Even the vets laughed thinking I wasn’t serious when I asked them to amend their records. I’ve informed them I am financially vulnerable and they literally don’t give a s…t. I gave them a second star only because when we had to claim in January they saw to this really quickly.

Should be named Pets Worst
I filed three claims with them after my waiting period was over.
The first was for an allergic reaction related to an MCT, which was accepted and paid part of my deductible.
The second was for a follow up visit due to continued health problems from the first claim. Suddenly the MCT is pre-existing and they denied my claim.
The third claim was for a righty to remove the MCT and a benign fatty tumor. Again my claim was denied because they decided the MCT was now pre-existing and in addition decided the benign fatty tumor was pre-existing as well.
I want to make it clear that the MCT itself was not diagnosed until a wellness exam that occurred after the waiting period. Seems to me they just didn’t want to accept the last two claims because I would have then met my deductible and they would have had to pay out on the third claim. They want to take your money and not help your pet.
