This insurance is so quick and easy to…
This insurance is so quick and easy to use and they paid any claims quickly and we’re so kind and thoughtful when my dog ended up dying from lymphoma at only 8 years old.

Pets Best is very good
Pets Best is very good. My furbaby had a medical emergency while we were on vacation, then i remembered I had the insurance. Just wish they would provide pre-authorizations in instances such as emergencies so parents won't have to come out of pocket.

Great Overall Experience Including Filing Claims
Fantastic experience from enrolling to filing claims process. I had selected Figo Insurance after doing a lots of research on insurance providers and I have no regrets. I enrolled immediately after getting my kitten. within the first year, I had to file 2 unexpected claims for my baby cat. I provided exactly the documentation Figo requested ( including the medical notes from the vet) via the phone application. It was very fast turnaround process and get paid quickly. At the same time, I renewed my second year insurance policy which stays pretty much the same. I am very happy with Figo and very happy with my choice.

Fetch is a scam
Fetch is a scam. They continued to charge us after we cancelled. We cancelled because the rate skyrocketed to over $2500 and the policy pays a maximum of $400 per illness. So it would be impossible to recover the premium unless my pet had 7 unrelated illnesses in one year. Absurd. We changed our credit card number to stop them from continuing to charge us and they somehow found the new number and kept charging us. We disputed the charges with our credit card company and they didn’t challenge our dispute until two years later, when they suddenly charged us for three years’ worth of insurance premiums totaling over $8k. The company changed hands (from petplan to fetch) and they claim not to have saved the recorded call during which I cancelled in 2020. So the credit card company took their side (they did not give us written confirmation of the cancellation-it was only on the call which I did not record myself) and in 2022 they made us pay $5000 for policies that were supposedly in effect for 2020 and 2021. You have 90 days to submit a claim, so there’s no way we could have derived a single penny’s worth of benefit from those premiums. Pure scam. Yes, I spoke with customer service. In answer to my question about why I would get charged $8000 in a single year to insure one cat, the rep said, “If we are able to charge you, we will.” I think that pretty much sums up the company.

ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY
I WOULD GIVE ZERO OR LESS IF IT WAS AN OPTION. They do everything possible to get out of paying. I found out today, Christmas Eve they’re denying my ENTIRE CLAIM (my cat was attacked by another animal, his ear was badly bitten and part was torn off) because according to when they checked with my my vet he has a pre-existing condition of aggressiveness. Yes, towards my vet as he can’t stand going there. But please tell me how this is related to another animal ripping his ear off?!!!! Don’t waste your money. I should have been saving with every pay cheque and I would have more than enough money to cover it. Now here I am, the day before Christmas stuck with a huge bill I was expecting to have covered. THANK YOU FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!

Tango’s claim
I have had Trupanion Insurance for approximately 20 years and I am so pleased at the ease of filing a claim. They are quick to communicate when other paperwork is needed, keep you updated all through the claims process, and always willing to help when you call on them. I always recommend Trupanion to anyone that ask me about pet insurance. We have THREE dogs under our current policy and Trupanion makes it so easy to provide them with excellent health care. Thank you Trupanion!

Unethical/illegal business practices
Conducted a medical review and acknowledged they did but did not annotate any preexisting until I made a claim. Per mr Caldwell “ We request medical history from any clinics that we were told about at the end of your pet’s waiting periods even if a medical history was not requested. Zelda’s policy started on 6/25/19, her illness coverage was active as of 7/9/19, and coverage for orthopedic conditions started 12/25/19.” I sent Mariah Gunther the documents and she did not process it back July of 2019.
