I've had a really wonderful experience with HealthyPaws. I jumped on it and got insurance for my cat when he was young and I am so glad I did. Recently he has been dealing with some complex medical issues and having HealthyPaws on my team has been such a relief. Grateful
Our dog Churchill had surgery and was in intensive care for six days as he developed an infection as well after the surgery. Without Trupanion insurance we would have had to put him down because of financial considerations. Our vet worked with Trupanion and kept us informed of costs and what insurance would pay. Our final bill was $20,000. Trupanion paid $16,900 of it. I am so grateful for them as I watch “Churchill “ healthy happy and playful. Thank you thank you Trupanion!

This is second year of Sonnet Insurance…
This is second year of Sonnet Insurance and I am not sure there will be a third. I an very disappointed with on line service and not that fond of Sonnet customer service . Web site may be easy for some but I found it difficult to get the info I wanted. Explanations from CS reps not always considerate of customer over company needs.

My TruPanion Experience in the need of an hour
Hello, I have been a Trupanion customer since I adopted my first golden (named 'Mickey') in August 2011. He was just a puppy and I had him on the insurance since day one. Fortunately, he did not have to see the doctor for any issues since I had him. But as days/weeks/months/years went by, for the first time we saw him straining during pooping and the poor baby was just struggling in pain. Mickey was diagnosed with rectal mass that had to be immediately removed. Doctors also found some other masses in his thigh and shoulder. They were big enough and suspicious. Mickey’s surgery went well and he is receiving back nicely. Unfortunately one of the mass biopsy showed “Spindle cell sarcoma” and other were “Lipoma”. He might need further treatment now to evaluate from Oncology department on biopsy results. I am just glad that I had Trupanion. Hospital filed claim on behalf of me directly to Trupanion. (Hospital had charged the bill amount as deposit on my credit card). TruPanion required lot of documentation from the hospital). Trupanion reviewed this claim and just today approved $5,725.20 from my total bill of $6,471.33. I just want to thank Trupanion who was there in hours of my need. They did charge separate deductible for Sarcoma and Lipoma but I had chosen $50 deductible from the beginning. They do increase your premium for lower deductibles, but worth it.. I have seen many negative reviews recently so I wanted to post this good experience to others. Only negative I can see is that Trupanion has increased premiums consistently every year. It might be a problem for some, but when time like this comes and you have your insurance that takes care of your pet.. Advice: Insure your pet on DAY 1 when he is puppy and continue the policy without a break.

If there was a 0 star they would get it…
If there was a 0 star they would get it I had house insurance through sonnet and unfortunately I had a fire that totally destroyed my house. Right from the beginning the claim was handled horribly. In the end they found a condition in the policy and denied me coverage. I’m left with a burnt house and the “ insurance “ I paid for left me in the cold no coverage at all. Not an insurance company it is a scam do not get sucked in like I did

Great for Dog Owners!
We got this insurance when our dog turned a year old and it ended up covering a large ER bill shortly after. The process for submitting a claim is super easy (you can do it from your phone!) and the turnaround time is less than a week. If you have a dog that frequently gets into trouble, this is a must have.

Read the fine print!
You could say it's my own fault for not reading the fine print closely enough, but so far it's turned out that virtually everything that has befallen my dog since getting this insurance has fallen under one of the many exclusions written into the policy. So unless your pet gets hit by a bus, be prepared for your claim to get rejected. Read the fine print carefully before buying, as painful as it is to do that.
