The problem I have when I call is the recorded phone system. I cannot hear the message whatevet time I call. The same problem with a customer service person I have to ask them to speak up. I know I don't have a hearing problem. If my choice was I would never call. This is unacceptable for anyone trying to reach this service.

Hope your Vet does it all!

I hate doing this. I have had nothing but great experiences through petplan.. until now. Unfortunately, this experience is bad enough to warrant no more than 1 star. My dog needed behavioral therapy training due to some changing behavior. Our vet referred us to a behaviorist who did a wonderful job. Our plan includes behavioral coverage and specifically states "behavior therapy." When our claim was denied, I called to inquire. I was informed that "in the terms and conditions" it says that any behavioral training MUST be done by a licensed vet. In our area, there are behavioral training centers, and vets do not do any type of behavioral training, hence the referral (not sure if it's like this everywhere?). I informed them that I had a referral from the vet and that our vet does not do any behavioral training. I also informed them that it was a licensed "behavioral therapist" that performed the training. I was told there was nothing I could do or send in to get it covered due to the wording in the terms and conditions. Advertising in policy documents and coverage details that behavioral therapies are covered, but only covering them if performed by a certified vet (which is not listed in the policy documents with behavior coverage, and is ONLY in the terms and conditions) strikes me as a company that is trying to trick people into paying for services that should be covered under their plan. Shady back room jargon is not for me. I will be switching coverage. Best of luck everyone.

5 Stars

I've been really pleased with Health Paws. My dog needed TPLO surgery (dog version of a torn ACL) and it was VERY EXPENSIVE. We would have taken a real hit financially had we not been established with Healthy Paws. I think as long as you are familiar with the policies and making sure to read them prior to signing up, Healthy Paws delivers what they say they will. They have a very easy claims process also.

I would recommend trupanion!!

I would recommend trupanion to anyone. Unfortunately I’ve had to use their service several times. Their response time is very fast, they are incredibly friendly and compassionate. Explanations on eligible and in eligible expenses are thoroughly explained. Their chat service and their telephone service is very easy to access and pleasant to deal with.

They don't provide expected customer experience and their online services are really buggy, limited.

Sonnet has a really bad service, customer service and online website are not good at all. My wife as a car, i have a car, we have a house. We both need our account for our car, but my wife can't have our house in her account, only me can. Cause of this, we can't get rebate on our 2 cars + home because their online system doesn't support that. On the side, you can register to their website with a + alias email, but their system will be buggy everywhere. You will have to remove it to make it work properly. Customer service is able to just hang up your call if they don't want to talk more with you. If it's in chat, they may close the chat without asking before if they did answered your answer and even if you stay active and talk with them. They just don't care. Service is really poor, i put a legit 1 star because prices are ok at least the first year, but that's all. Don't deal with them, go with a competitor instead, don't waste your time. Oh and they just lost 3 contracts and won 2 more detractors. ## Answer to the support who just answered my review: Plus aliases are official email feature, registered in RFC (main IT norms). Mail with "+" are legit, your website doesn't know how to deal with it and bug everywhere while support can mail me. And woaw, are you really talking about privacy when not supporting correctly "+" aliases? That's weird customer service always hang up on issues they don't know how to deal with. Everytime you spend some time with support, or you ask to fix something, or you really need their assistance, system just hang up, in chat and in voice calls. No, it's not "normal" when it happens that often, and no, it's not a "regular connection issue". You can't imagine how much i had issues. Sadly your answer is the same as what i'm used to hear from customer support: "create an account, register insurances" we are already all setup. Your system just not work properly and is really limited. When i've subscribed, i was expecting things to evolve, but looks like nothing moved on customer side. How can we trust you seeing all those issues?

The ASPCA was a great plan for my two English Bulldogs who needed a lot of care as they aged. It provided us with the relief knowing if anything were to happen they had great coverage. I took the full plan excluding the preventive and it worked so well I know just got it for my new 5 year old rescue English Bulldog. Thank you for your ease in the application process as well as your efficient manner in redeeming what was due us on a regular basis. I highly recommend!

Tough time with our beloved dog’s…

Tough time with our beloved dog’s health lately but, thanks to Trupanion, paying wasn’t a factor. Trupanion made this difficult time so much less stressful than it could have been if our bank account was wiped out. Now, we only have to concentrate on getting our sweet girl better. We can't thank Trupanion enough!
