Disaster
Raised my policy nearly $20 a month because my vet reported him as a Pitbull, in which he is not. They want proof that he isn’t a Pitbull when I’ve already had him DNA tested previously. All in all, THEY ARE DISCRIMINATORY TO DOGS THAT RESEMBLE PITBULLS. This breed assumption is very dangerous; bulldogs, boxers, staffies, etc. are carelessly mistaken for Pitbulls. Ignorance is bliss. Don’t waste your money here.

My experience with Pets Best has been…great so far!
My experience with Pets Best has been great so far. Signed up for it for my Havanese puppy; needed to use pet ER on Mother’s Day for gastritis, submitted my claim and received an EOB within a week. I have not received the check yet, but it’s on its way. Very prompt! I wish human health insurance went this well.

I love Trupanion
This time I was contacting Trupanion to update my payment method and it was easy and fast. The agent confirmed that the information had been updated in my account. Anytime that I have ever had to contact Trupanion by phone or by chat the agents have always been very personable and efficient. I feel that they are very invested in my pet's well-being and understand that my pets are my children.

The best insurance!!!
This insurance has been a blessing. Our puppy developed health problems unexpectedly. Because we had insurance, she is able to get the care she needs. Trupanion has honored their agreement and pays all of the claims.

Pity you can't give them a 0. Worthless Company and Insurance
We bought insurance because we were getting anew puppy from overseas. Unfortunately due to delays in shipping due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine our dog was held up at the border for two weeks and contracted pneumonia. Because delivery was delayed the decided that the policy didn't take effect under the grace period (something they never mentioned even existed) and paid not one penny of over $5,000 in medical expenses. I wouldn't trust this company ever again!

Horrible
Horrible! They are rip off artists, and even though you have a valid claim, they will only pay 1/3 max! And I am surprised that they paid anything at all! They must figure that some is better than none…my dog needed 30,000 worth of surgery to save her leg, they paid 8,000! AND they said oh well…!

Just like every other insurance company - dishonest.
Your company is like every other insurance company - nothing special or terribly honest about you. I started with you and my insurance was somewhere around $180. Unbeknownst to me, after reviewing my payments a little while later, I found it went up to close to $300 with no reasonable explanation. Your phone people have no idea what they are talking about and explanations were all over the place. Your company andis unethical. Very in special. When I can find another insurance company I will.
