MetLife pet insurance has always been…

MetLife pet insurance has always been such an easy process to submit claims and provide all proper documentation’s. I appreciate the examples of the documents that are required. The handbook package is easy to read and understand. I would definitely recommend MetLife pet insurance and will continue to use them for all my pet insurances.

Don’t waste your time/money,useless & combative!

Trupanion is totally useless. For a rescue, they deny claim for any & all Vet visits.Any health issues were deemed “pre-existing” because of “rescue.” Bottom line? They charge monthly & literally covered zero. Also customer service? Combative, when questions were asked.DO NOT Recommend, Under Any Circumstances!I would give NEGATIVE STARS rating, if that were possible!☹️😡

The ease of turning in an insurance…

The ease of turning in an insurance voucher for payment. I like how every part of the process is explained and the speed in which the claim is dispersed. I will continue to tell everyone I know about your company's pet insurance

Good, not Great.

I have been a customer of Embrace for 5+ years, as I compete with my dogs in agility and am a USAA member. I also have a low deductible and a high reimbursement; if a dog gets injured, even an initial evaluation with the vet can run $800-$1000. The good: Embrace covers most of my claims. If a claim is accepted, they are pretty quick about disbursing reimbursement. The not-so-good: Embrace uses AI to review claims. I've had claims rejected because they use the word "ultrasound," and AI cannot distinguish between therapeutic and diagnostic ultrasound. This leads to a very quick rejection of a claim; unfortunately, Embrace takes its time reviewing the additional information they request, delaying claim processing. The bad: My dogs undergo regular therapy to keep them in top form (as prescribed by my vet). The rehabilitation facility offers tiered pricing, which includes therapeutic exercise, underwater treadmill, laser, and physical manipulation -- all for one price. Embrace regularly rejects these claims because "physical manipulation" is considered "massage," and they do not cover therapeutic massage. Other modalities, such as shockwave, are not covered. Even though the price of shockwave has reduced dramatically (from $700/session to $175/session), and it is an evidence-based therapy, Embrace does not cover it. In fact, Embrace will not cover many proven therapies, including Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (chiro), Massage, PEMF/TENS, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy.
