This company will not pay your claim and they will lose your medical records.

This company will avoid paying your claim at all costs. They will notify you repeatedly that your animal's medical records were not received from your vet. Actually, the medical records database crashed and they lost all of the medical records during the week of 4.1.22. Use Companion Protect. This company is fraudulent at best.

Read the fine print, very shady rules.

Absolute joke. Get a quote online, select that I want full / premium coverage only to find out because I am under 35 and my car makes over 400hp (which is not a high number) Sonnet won't offer collision or comprehensive coverage. So I am supposed to drive around in a $70k car with no coverage? Only until spending 45 min in an online chat to find this out and now wait upwards of a month to get my refund? Beyond dissatisfied.

I spent the better part of a Sunday…

I spent the better part of a Sunday afternoon researching multiple pet insurance policy’s. There were pros and cons to each of them, as there would be with anything involving insurance. However, for me the pros for the ASPCA’ monthly premiums, deductible, reimbursement options, and finally the waiting period until the plan is effective outweighed the cons. I liked that you can tailor your plan to your pets specific needs. All the while making sure that you have enough coverage, and the deductible you’re comfortable having to come out of pocket for annually. The one downside, or inconvenience is that the claims aren’t handled by the veterinarians office. Each qualifying visit requires you to gather all the information for the form to be completed, and then send it to the claims center for review to get reimbursed. Other than the additional steps you as the owners have to take for the claims process, it seems to be a pretty solid choice.
