I appreciate Trupanion…
I really appreciate that Trupanion understands the pet owner's concerns, especially with regards to upfront costs. I have had clear, and proactive communications from them, so there are no misunderstandings, or lack of availability for their services. I have reserved the 5th star for when I actually use the insurance. But for now, I am happy to acknowledge and promote their company.

ACL/CCL surgery reimbursement process
After our dog had ACL/CCL surgery, I was very concerned there would be some clause in the underwriting preventing us from our reimbursement. However, the Embrace was great. It was a super speedy reimbursement process and incredibly easy to use the app. I submitted invoices within days of the surgery and was reimbursed within a couple of weeks, which is great for our credit card. Five star experience for sure.

Healthy Paws - A Caring Pet Insurance
I highly recommend Healthy Paws. Our dog got sick, went to an emergency hospital, went to his regular vet, and ended up in a hospital for four days. The day after we submitted the claims, we received an email that Healthy Paws received medical documents and invoices. Next day, we received another email telling us the claims have been reviewed and completed. Seven days after we submitted the claims, we received a follow-up email asking us how our dog is doing. That evening we received the checks. I was quite surprised how efficient the process was. Not only Healthy Paws handled our claims well, they were concerned the wellbeing of our dog. That is why I highly recommend them.

Best Pet Insurance
My Ellie Mae has a large lipoma that required a cat scan. Once I paid the bill ($1680.) I submitted the claim form and the paid invoice to Healthy Paws for processing. Within a week I received my refund, (based on the deductible). I find the customer service amazing.

I have not had to use it yet
I have not had to use it yet, so dont really know. However one thing I find difficult is to find my what my plan covers. All I can tell so far is that there is no deductible, but cant find what is and is not covered.
