Preventive Essentials is worth it.
I added the Preventive Essentials package to my insurance plan. Thankfully, I haven’t had to use the accident/illness coverage yet but my first claim for my cat, Skyy’s, annual visit was approved and reimbursement was issued quickly. Thanks for an easy process so far! I really hope it continues!!!

Abysmally slow
My dog had an exam and xrays on Dec 27, 2022. I sent the paid invoice and a note telling Pets Best he needed surgery and it was scheduled. My dog had surgery on Jan 23, and I sent the paid invoice to PB on Jan 26. My vet sent the records to PB on Feb 6. I had heard nothing from PB a month later. I ended up calling 3 times trying to get results, and finally after my last call to them on March 14, I got an email on March 15 explaining what would be reimbursed. I still have not received the check, and have no idea how long that may take. I have 10 pets insured with them, and am rethinking this, because this degree of slow response is abysmal.
