This was the easiest Insurance claim I ever filed. Payment was made according to plan in 2 days.
This company is outstanding. I was able to submit the claim online. They listed the required documents for the submission. The approval was made in 1 day. I purchased this plan for emergencies only and it sure came in handy. My puppy ingested something he shouldn’t have which can happen at any time. I will definitely recommend this Company

Truly amazing service
We have had an insurance policy for Ruby since we got her at 9 weeks old. At roughly $55.00 per month it seemed somewhat expensive but we don’t believe that now. Ruby is now 10 years and developed cancer that required extensive surgery at a cost far exceeding what we have paid in premiums to date. At no time has Trupanion questioned the costs or the payment in claims. In fact they pay directly to the service provider and do it quickly, usually within 15 minutes. We are never out of pocket for large sums of money. Also in their letters of approval they always state “we’ve got this” and they do. They are the most compassionate and caring company i have ever dealt with. Do I recommend them as an insurance carrier…..absolutely. Look into their offerings, you will NOT be disappointed.

My experience was fantastic! I'm a huge advocate for pet insurance and will be telling anyone that gets a new animal. I'd like to express my concerns about not being able to change deductibles at annual renewal though. That is an issue especially with job changes and circumstances that change. I recommend healthy paws to everyone I know. I got this insurance for both of my dogs when they were about 5. My girl ivy has gotten into some things that landed us in the Er and recently had to have a mass removed which has been emotionally trying for me as these are my babies so to have a hastle-free insurance is really nice. Every claim I have submitted for whatever has been reimbursed shockingly fast and with the app I can see if further info is required for a claim. When I call customer service I always get the help I am looking for.
