Dishonest Company
Tripled my premium. Informed me that medical records I submitted were insufficient and when the Vet told me more detailed records didn't exist in their system, HealthyPaws refused to assist in resolving the issue until I had a claim to file. So they wanted to take money from me every month, without helping resolve this issue, and then when it came time to file a claim, they would have a good reason to deny it. Overall, felt very dishonest and like a scam.

A Lifesaver!
Our vet recommended Trupanion years ago, saying it often makes hard decisions easier. Fast forward to last June when our dog's health declined. Ultimately, we found out it was cancer and it demanded a very expensive surgery. Had we not had Trupanion, we probably wouldn't have gone through with the surgery. The vet's sage advice to purchase Trupanion, to make the hard decisions easier had come to fruition. Our pup's life has been a roller coaster since the surgery, but thanks to the insurance (a type of "forced savings plan"), we can continue to treat her because her quality of life is good. One lifetime deductible for an illness is a godsend and submitting claims only takes a few minutes. A prompt reply and reimbursement always occurs. We are forever grateful for our decision to use Trupanion.

I have had to use my policy twice this year. They pay slow and barely cover 50 percent of my bill. I would not recommend this company. Then you correspond with umpteen people about your file which one person doesn't know what the other one days.

Sonnet is awesome
Wife had an accident which totalled our car. She hit black ice then hit a tree. This was a couple weeks before Christmas and was completely handled.by Jan in the second week. We lost some time as our claim wasn't actually started till a week or so after the accident. With it being holiday season was very happy with the service we received When we had to call and speak to an agent they were always helpful and very professional. Am very happy with Sonnet and will stay with them for a very long time. The ease of making online changes is so much better then waiting on phone to speak to someone when I can make changes I want on my own. Sometimes the VIN wasn't accepted and would.have to call an agent. Always have found agents to be most helpful and fix what I needed fixed the first time.

I have had Trupanion and only Trupanion…
I have had Trupanion and only Trupanion for all of my Jack Russells from puppyhood until the death of two of them, one in 2020, and the other in 2021. I would not have pet insurance FROM ANYONE ELSE BUT TRUPANION! My dogs became very ill toward the end of their lives, and Trupanion paid THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in vet bills, emergency vet bills, and medications, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. There is no way that I could provide the level of care for my dogs without Trupanion! They are a godsend! They reimburse quickly and provide detailed explanations on coverages of each claim. If you are thinking about purchasing pet insurance for your fur baby, you won’t go wrong with Trupanion!!!!!! THANK YOU TRUPANION ♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Our gift from heaven
For 13 years we have been blessed with a canine that is as dear to us as another one of our children ❤️. Trupanion aided in giving us a peace of mind that no matter what our Pwpper faced in his journey that we have a fair chance of overcoming that hurdle. Schnoodles are known for dental issues. Great insurance for our dog
When we adopted our dog Gabby five and a half years ago, our Vet strongly recommended getting this insurance and We are very glad he did. The policy we have is very cost effective and does not cover basic services such as office visits etc but did cover x-rays for her hip dysplasia, anti inflammatory meds, cruciate ligament surgery and rehab therapy to improve her hip function. We are very pleased with this policy and thier customer service. Claims are processed quickly.
