Extremely poor reimbursement turn…
Extremely poor reimbursement turn around time. Claim approved on 6/27. Check supposedly mailed on 7/18. As of 7/28, still do not have check. Was told nothing could be done until 8/15 when another check would be issued if I had not received the previously sent check. Representative could not even tell me from where the check had been mailed. Would change companies but now my dog has a pre-existing condition that would not be covered by a new company. Very disappointed in this company and would not recommend. Update: as of today 8/4/2022..still no reimbursement check and no response from company to my review. Extremely disappointed. Update: As of today 8/8/2022, still no check. Update: As of yesterday 8/9/2022, still no check. Update: Ad of today 8/17/2022, still no check. I would not recommend this pet insurance company to anyone. Extremely poor customer service. Update: As of today, 9/1/2022; still no check.

Best insurance!
Our sweet goldendoodle just recovered from a major abdominal surgery. Without Healthy Paws, we could not have provided her with the care she needed. Healthy Paws paid 90% of our claim. We were so relieved. With a daughter in college, this was a blessing. The claim process is super easy and I love the app! Healthy Paws gives us peace of mind when making medical decisions for our sweet girl. I highly recommend this insurance!! It’s very affordable!

I gave a 4 stars because few years ago, my claim was ignored. The doctor sent two letters and the vet manager called and also sent letters to your office; about a claim for an altersound. NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!!! Very disappointed

Good Online Company with Bad Customer Service
I am their existing customer, I would say its good Online company but with pathetic customer service. My renewal is due & I called them, I felt that customer Service was either trying to be over clever or they did not have complete knowledge of their own system. Upon request to talk to senior they can`t transfer call & told that would get a call back after 2 days. This is when I am an existing customer & trying to know about my renewal details.

Trupanion. You owe it to you and your pet.
When I purchased my puppy from a breeder, they required us to have pet insurance in order to purchase. I just figured that I would cancel it once we obtained ownership. Long story short, we did not cancel and boy, am I glad that we did not. Trupanion has been there for us every step of the way. When you call and talk with someone at Trupanion, they have a general concern for your pet and empathy for what you may be going through. They process claims in a timely and efficient manner. I have never had to wait more than a couple of days to have a claimed processed. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone who is seeking a reputable pet insurance provider.

Don't Recommend
Nationwide will find any reason to deny your claim and state your dog has a pre-existing condition. They denied my claim for a puppy I just adopted stating it was a pre-existing condition. I just got the dog! It's impossible.
