So far I am very happy and impressed. The main thing is the price and rate of coverage. Also my emails get answered within 24 hours, if not the same day. Excellent! I am brand new to Pumpkin, but hopefully everything will stay excellent.

Healthy Paws Alleviated Significant Financial Stress for my Family
My pug, who had always been incredibly healthy, simply jumped off of our couch (something he had always done!) and immediately lost feeling in his back legs. We had to rush him to the hospital for immediate care and hospitalization. An MRI showed a herniated disc and significant spinal trauma. The hospital kept him for a period of days as he was going to need medication, rest and rehabilitation (and maybe eventual surgery). With the vet, we came up with a care plan in order to bring him home. But the first day we brought him home - he had a bad reaction to medication and had to be hospitalized again. All in all, he was hospitalized for almost a week. We were devastated and very stressed, to say the least. In the background, knowing we had Healthy Paws made all the difference. The claims process was so smooth and simple, and the reimbursement was in my account so quickly. Not having to fight on the financial end of things made our lives easier when all we wanted to do was focus on our fur baby. I am grateful that we have pet insurance with Healthy Paws, 10000%!!!

Just what we needed
Years ago we lost a cat to cancer and because we didn't have pet insurance at the time, couldn't afford the treatment she needed. At that point, we vowed that for any future pet we would definitely get pet insurance. That was 5yrs ago and since then added two more cats to our family. The day we picked up our kittens we enrolled them with Healthy Paws. Like most, we reviewed many pet insurance companies and felt the coverage from Healthy Paws was the right fit for what we were looking for in pet insurance. Over that 5yr period we have relied on Healthy Paws twice. Once for an abdominal obstruction which required surgery and most recently to help pay for cancer treatments. Sadly, after 10 months our furry friend lost his battle but Health Paws was there to provide the financial support we needed. I found the rates to be reasonable and their claims process and reimbursement times spot on! We will be welcoming two more additions to our pet family this weekend and signing them up with Healthy Paws will be a no brainer.
