I was hoping to also get preventative care also, but somehow missed this, now I cannot add it for a year. That could be on me, but I feel it was not obvious until I got the email stating that I did not get it. Otherwise I would rate 5 stars.

Trupanion for life!
As a new cat owner, I was hesitant to purchase insurance for him because I thought it wouldn't be worth it. Boy, was I wrong! After a year or so my cat developed Idiopathic Cystitis which I learned is fairly common in male cats and is life threatening if not treated. He needed immediate treatment and I had a pre-approval from Trupanion within an hour which provided me with such comfort to know I'd be able to afford the best care for him. He's all I have and he means the world to me. Thank you, Trupanion, for helping save my buddy!

Issues with health insurance purchase.
Agent is very polite and marginally knowledgeable. The third party marketing is a bit of a pain. They can't seem to get it together with what, how and where to bill for the policies. There is a glitch in the internet software that causes problems with the pricing. I had to pay $61 dollars more for the policy than my contract indicated. The bill did not go through for some reason and I haven't seen the Amazon gift card I was promised. Prudent Pet Insurnce quickly acted to rectify all issues. They have remedied software and billing issues. And, I received my $50 gift card for my trouble. Dog is happily covered by Prudent. 😁

It was very easy to enroll and any questions were answered to my satisfaction. I have not had to use the insurance so I am not sure how it is if you need to make a claim. Although, my vet did recommend them to me so I assume they be a good company to be covered through.
