Scam w/ Rules Made Up On The Spot
Complete scam with ever changing rules all for the purpose of making sure that you can never seem to quite get what you thought you paid for. Decisions not to pay you take 1-2 days, appeals to be reimbursed for very clearly covered services and/or blatant lies by the staff to try to justify non-payment take 60days++. By far one of the worst insurers I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with. EDIT: apropos auto-reply from brand just reminded me to also add not to rely on their customer service. Every interaction is a multi-hour waste of time where they can’t find files, contradict past agents, or just generally call you a liar until presented with proof they can no longer dance around. No thanks, not doing that again — just looking for a new insurer. Thanks for the useless / impersonal / CYA auto-reply though… completely on brand.

MetLife Pet Insurance
Great insurance provider for your pets. Some Veterinary Offices do not provide all the information needed to file a claim. I do have to pay a little extra to have my Vet provide more information for me to initiate a claim. Otherwise, I’m very happy with MetLife.

Literally worse than human insurance
Literally worse than human insurance. I took my cat to the emergency vet in the day my waiting period was up and they stated they won’t reimburse me due to his condition being “preexisting”. They gave me some excuse that the stomach bug was in his stomach before I took him in so they won’t help pay a nearly $800 bill. I spent $1400 out of pocket and even after my $250 deductible was hit, they only reimbursed me $200. Do NOT get this crappy insurance.

Fetch is amazing from the moment I inquired about a quote to the moment they reimbursed me after my puppy’s spay. They also have a wellness package that makes it affordable to do all those little things you may not typically do heartworm/ kennel cough/ dental visits and much more.. their rates are manageable to keep it within a budget. You guys are beyond amazing keep up the great customer service . Rosie and I will be lifers .

Great value
We weren't going to get insurance for our new puppy but decided to. Have had a few trips to the vet for shots and wellness check and it's turned out to be a smart investment. Highly recommend you get this and insure your pet! It's saved us some $$ for sure.

Great experience
While the claim process took a little more time than expected, but they kept up in the loop notifying us things were taking longer than normal. They were thorough and provided detailed explanation of the claim. Better explanation that I could have imagined. Really appreciated the communication and the entire process was simple from our end.

2 reasons for 1 star
Asking for a review 7 days after I signed up, yet the waiting period is 14 days before insurance kicks in is a waste of time. One star for that. Also one star because my rate was an addtl $2 higher per month (which wasn't clear before signing up) if paying monthly, and not annually. Feel like this was a hidden fee and not very transparent of the company.
