Trupanion is the right choice!!!
I am so happy we made the decision to go with Trupanion when we brought home our pup. We always hope we won't need pet insurance, but it is too late after the fact. Trupanion has been great for us as we have a leg issue that we are trying to resolve. I have had claims paid in as little as 14 hours!! The only thing I am upset about is physical therapy is not included in my plan and I was told it was a separate policy. I was never advised of that or I would have purchased it also. I now know for any future animals. If you have a pet, Trupanion is the way to go!!!

Be prepare to waste a ton of money
Unless you start your policy before you've taken your pet to the vet, be prepared to flush a ton of money down the drain. I had a policy for 5 years, paid nearly $4,000 into it before submitting a claim, then my dog had an abscessed tooth. My bill was nearly $900 and I finally submitted my first and only claim, but Trupanion said they found record from my vet saying my dog had tartar before my policy started. What 5 year old dog does not have some tartar? Anyway, Trupanion practically gave me the middle finger and I'm done. I feel like I was swindled. Do yourself a favor and just put like $50 into a separate savings account for your pet every month. Don't waste your money with this company that will find any reason not to help you.

I only had this insurance for couple of months and I m thinking of canceling it! The amount charged every month seems low enough to convince one to become a member easily but if instead of paying it, I start to save the same amount each month, at the end of the year I’ll have saved even more and have the cash available for wellness appointments and any kind of emergency without having to deal with poor customer services and waiting their very slow processing time!

Horrible company!!
Horrible company!!! Stay away. They refused to pay for a well visit for my cat. They used a technical excuse. They also rAise there fees a ton for no reason. They are really despicable. But they will write tons of long emails. I am looking for different insurance
