Straightforward claim filing and reimbursement
First time filing a claim. It was easy to upload the necessary files and I got reimbursed within a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, my cat was sick and I'll have to file more but it makes caring for my pet a little less worrisome.

I had filed a claim incorrectly
I had filed a claim incorrectly. I thought it would take a while to resolve the issue. I had to reopen the claim then from there it went swiftly. The gentleman who handled the claim called me and emailed me with updates. I appreciated all he did.

They deserve no stars
They deserve no stars! My 93 yr old mother has had her 15 yr old Yorkie insured through Trupanion for several years. She has never filed a claim. I brought her dog to a veterinary hospital because she either had a blockage or was constipated. It was determined that she was constipated. They had to put oxygen on her while she was there. Trupanion has now deemed this two separate illnesses and she is being charged two deductibles. Disgraceful!!! I’ll be dropping them for my own pets.
