This insurance is a scam. Don't buy
I received a code from a breeder for 30 day's insurance. Had to activate in 24 hours. Online procedure said zipcode, then Code was invalid. I waited online for 10 minutes and answered a lot of question only to be told they were busy and I had to talk to a licensed agent who wasn't available. They were obviously trying to run the 24 hour clock down. I would NOT recommend.

Direct billing
I got the insurance when my cats were only about eight weeks, now they are five years old. I use Trupanion this year for the first time, happy that the veterinarian has direct billing so that helped us to do the claim.

My Winn-Winn was diagnosed with cancer…
My Winn-Winn was diagnosed with cancer and also tore her acl all in a matter of a week. Trupanion made it VERY EASY to get her all the care she needed since I knew I could afford the surgeries due to her policy. She’s cancer free now and her leg has heal. She has a happy girl again and running around in the backyard with the other pups.

Trupanion is the best!!! Never declined any claim sent in, no matter how many times my doggies are not feeling well. And payments are instant, any day of the week or weekend.
