Will do anything to deny claims
Im sorry I paid premiums to this company. My dog, a Labrador Retriever, has had a pre-existing condition which I know won’t be covered- EVER. But this company would not cover his annual well check because the vet did an ear check while there. This insurance company is a donation to their company.

Been with Trupanion for about 6 months…
Been with Trupanion for about 6 months and absolute feel that this is the best insurance for my pet! They are very easy to get ahold of to discuss and process claims and have different packages based on the pet and not to mention all bets and animal hospitals are now taking the insurance! A must check out insurance for a peace of mind’!

This insurance is a scam. Don't buy
I received a code from a breeder for 30 day's insurance. Had to activate in 24 hours. Online procedure said zipcode, then Code was invalid. I waited online for 10 minutes and answered a lot of question only to be told they were busy and I had to talk to a licensed agent who wasn't available. They were obviously trying to run the 24 hour clock down. I would NOT recommend.

Direct billing
I got the insurance when my cats were only about eight weeks, now they are five years old. I use Trupanion this year for the first time, happy that the veterinarian has direct billing so that helped us to do the claim.
