Figo has been amazing
Figo has been amazing. It gives me so much peace knowing that I can pay my dogs vet bill with my credit card (if I don’t have enough cash) and get refunded a significant portion of the bill in just the matter of a couple days, literally. I don’t make a lot of money so it’s unrealistic for me to be able to pay a $600 vet bill out of pocket but with Figo, I use my credit card at the vet and Figo refunds me 90% of the bill back on my credit card so I really only spent $60 out of the $600 that was paid to the vet. The monthly payment for Figo is also not expensive and the benefits are great! I recommend Figo to literally everybody I know that has animals. It’s been lifesaving especially with inflation going up like crazy for food, rent, gas, etc. I can promise you I’m 110% a real person, I also read reviews and question whether the person is actually real or not. UPDATE: Yes Figo

Immediately canceled my policy after this
I had a policy for each of my cats. Per the contract, pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, they have a 180-day period where if a condition doesn't occur, it is not considered pre-existing. This stood out to me as a positive since pretty much no insurance company allows pre-existing conditions (this is a huge fail with health insurance, pet or human, but that's another conversation). One of my cats needed emergency surgery to remove an eye, and after I submitted the almost $2,000 claim, I found it was rejected/not covered due to it being a pre-existing condition for something that had occurred 220 days prior. One, THIS wasn't related to the other vet visit, at all -- this was an emergency. Two, it was well over the 180-day grace period even if they could try their hardest to related the two. The rep told me that since it was noted on his vet records, it IS considered pre-existing (but it was unrelated??) and it will NOT be covered. What is the point of pet insurance if they don't cover emergency surgeries which are always expensive? And what is the point of sticking with a policy/company if they don't uphold their word?

There are far better options
A company that sees your pets as bags of money with dollar signs on them. Increase in premiums are expected, however, seeing your premium go up with $1800 per year is shocking. To get zero sympathy from them just rubs salt in that wound. This after making zero claims for a year. Do not bother with this company. The people that work for them are cold and unsympathetic. Make no mistake, they run a business and your pets are the products.
