Deny claims even though they are covered procedures
Beware that you can take your pet to the only specialist (a soft tissue specialist) that can tell if your pet actually has Brachycephalic Syndrome and they decide that's not good enough proof to justify paying a claim that is supposed to be covered. The soft tissue specialist has to check your pet under sedation so instead of wasting my time with a general vet who does not have the training or the correct equipment, as my dog is high risk to be under sedation, I took my pet to a specialist that also had an ICU just in case my dog reacted badly to anesthesia. They decided not to cover it even though the soft tissue specialist found that the surgery was needed and proceeded to fix the problem, because it was not recommended by my general vet who I see only for vaccines and accidents. Why pay or take the time to go to an unnecessary appointment for them just to refer me to the specialist I took him to? Well if I knew it was the only way they would actually cover what they were supposed to I would have. When speaking to the representative she said it should have been covered but her hands were tied because it was denied. She said I could appeal but that was a long shot.

ASPCA: flexible coverage + vet recommended
ASPCA was recommended to me first by a fellow member in a Facebook Group, and then also by my vet as the pet insurance that she selected for her own dog. Online, I appreciated how easy it was to select different coverage amounts (annual max, % reimbursement, and annual deductible) and see how the different options were priced as a monthly payment. GREAT WEBSITE, thank you!

Claims & Appeals - NO POINT IN MAKING ONE!
Not happy with my most recent claim. Not only was it handled in an untimely manner, but the outcome was completely unfair to me. The vet wrote a letter explaining how a recent issue I went in for was not related to a preexisting condition. Figo took way too long to look at this appeal and only to deny it anyway. Figo isn't living up to it's end of the deal and I would've preferred to speak to a live person about it (I have and had to call myself).

Screwed Over!
I received a quote, cheapest quote amongst the rest. Thought, why not. Please do yourself a favour and just say no to Sonnet. I paid 19 months for full coverage till my finance company requested proof of insurance. Found out I only had liability on my vehicle. Sonnet said they couldn't insure me for full coverage and changed my policy 2 days after signing and receiving my policy. They NEVER notified me. Fast forward to March when I renewed, assumed all was well and they continued to debit my account. They are lazy, let things fall through the cracks and their customer service is the worst I've experienced, screaming, yelling, lying, over talking and that's when I was canceling. I can't believe they let me drive a financed vehicle without full coverage. Please don't give them your hard earned cash. Pay a little more for peace of mind.

Megan Sparks is wonderful.
I am happy to praise my experience with Ms. Megan Sparks. Pet owners know that the cost of care can be scary, and so too can the cost of insurance. I was nervous when I called about I called with difficult questions about my pets' deductibles. Megan was able to answer each of them. Given the math involved, we went through a number of hypotheticals, and Megan was able to show me where I was incorrect in my calculations or understanding of the policy. She did so kindly and with a great deal of reassurance. I was also extremely impressed by how knowledgeable Megan was when it came to the details of the plans. I would rate my call with Megan as the single finest customer service experience I have had in years. Megan deserves a great deal of praise from everyone at Fetch. -- Ben Kerschberg
