Claims take too long to process
Typically takes more than one month to process a claim which seems unreasonable to me. When I signed up for Pets Best there were assurances and reviews that said claims were processed quickly. I don't consider 6-8 weeks quickly! Now that I understand the app and have it on my phone, it is easy to file a claim but it took me several trys and a few claims later to learn how to do it.

30% hike in premiums this year!
Not a happy camper. Multiple claims denied, and then they hiked my premiums by 30% this year!! So disappointing -- my experience with my old dog was great, but not with my new dog. I can no longer recommend Trupanion to my family and friends as I used to.

I have been extremely grateful
I have been extremely grateful to have Trupanion for my 6 year old dog. He has allergy issues and having pet insurance is a must. I highly recommend this company. They are easy to submit a claim to and get paid.

Poor coverage/reimbursement
I have paid insurance continually upon getting my dog Lilly in October. She was healthy but underweight, a rescue. She had a well Dog exam. Then she got a neck injury. I am still dealing with this, she is on medication I pay for. I have only been paid 47.00 after my deductible. Then you said you wont cover her leg injury.

Critical Illness with Speedy Insurance Reimbursement
I recently had a very sick dog that required hospitalization and a very huge bill. Embrace handled all claims in an expedient manner and sent my money sooner than you would expect. Great insurance company. One you can rely on. They live up to their promises and do everything they say they will.
