Absolutely horrible insurance
Absolutely horrible insurance. I bought it waited the amount of days necessary for it to cover and then took my dog to vet. I submitted the claim, assume that they had paid it in my account and when I went to look, they had denied it. I took my dog in for a tiny bump on her ankle (I don't like bumps at all on my animals. I've lost one to cancer.) They sent the claim back denied. Stated that ligaments and tendons weren't covered until after 14 days??????? Neither of those are applicable. Absolutely not worth the money.

happy to have pet insurance
My dog had TPLO surgery and it was rather costly. I was lucky to have a good pet insurance company like Healthy Paws. They handled my claim promptly and within a few weeks, I received my reimbursement. Healthy Paws immediately contacted me that they received my claim...and upon reimbursement, reached out and inquired as to how my dog was doing. I was happy to have the personal touch. I am very pleased I chose Healthy Paws.

grateful for peace of mind
Sooo glad I signed up for Trupanion when I got my puppy Hazel 6 years ago! She has chronic allergies that would’ve been a financial burden without insurance! And having piece of mind that I wouldn’t have to empty my savings account if something happened to her is worth every cent!

Raleigh - first claim
Very helpful once I finally got an agent on line. I tried several times to contact you on 8/21/23 to no avail. I kept hearing recordings which indicated I was pet parent #58 in line.
