Pets Best Thee Worst
I wished I had done more research before I decided to go with this company. It seems that they are The Best at denying claims. God forbid that your dog as diarrhea at any point in their life. As Medication, Nerves, Surgeries, Bad Food can cause it. To them its a pre-existing condition. My poor baby had a Foreign body surgery and went in for her first follow up. And hunched posture was mentioned in that visit. Well having your stomach cut open isn't very comfortable to say the least. On down the road a bit, my baby had an FCE which is the acute death of part of the spinal cord, caused by an embolus of fibrocartilaginous material. So pretty much a stroke. Pest Best denied the claim because of the Hunched Posture noted at her follow up visit from her Foreign Body Surgery!! So they basically said that her stroke was pre-existing. Hunched posture is a pre existing condition to a stroke?! I shouldn't have had to appeal that claim, as hunched posture has nothing to do with a Neurological issue. SO to save you time and the headache, Stay Away don't think twice. I've already done the home work for you, the hard way! You're Welcome!

Best decision I ever made !!!
We had bought a Labrador puppy after 15 years of not having a dog. We were t sure about getting Pet Insurance. I started researching and it was confusing. I chose Spot as they had a low deductible and a large percentage of coverage. I never thought I would need it so soon but an accident happened with our puppy 5 months old. They paid 90% of a huge bill and only $250.00 deductible!!! Thank you Spot Pet Insurance!!

Easy claim process!
I have had multiple claims to submit recently and the process has been so simple! My emergency care visits were reimbursed very quickly which has eased a lot of burden. I’m so thankful for the prompt processing and great customer service. The app is great!

Not What You Think.
Signed up for this insurance for my dog several months ago because they stated that cover well pet exams and accidents. Well, that’s just what happened, my dog got his nail caught in a grate and it was torn off. Took him to the vet ER and it cost a pretty penny. Filed the claim , sent all the records of procedures and cost, as requested and they paid me $0.00. I pay my premium every month on time for my pup and this is what the coverage covers, or should I doesn’t cover? Guess I needed to read the fine fine print. Needless to say I will be looking for new pet insurance for my pup.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience - my dog was treated for reflux years ago. After an episode of bloody vomiting an endoscopy revealed “emerging inflammatory bowel disease”. They declined to cover anything because she was treated for “upper gi condition”. Obviously they don’t even understand basic anatomy if the bowel is considered upper gi. Shame on me, apparently this is how they do business all the time. And can’t even get them on the phone to cancel!
