Long claim processing time frame
Advertisement for metlife and when you are signing up highlighted quick claim process. It doesnt say 7-10 days or longer to review & process claims. It is in the handbook very deep its not something clearly highlighted. I've waited up to 15 days for a claim to be processed. I make sure to even get SODA from vet office and submit all together and the time frame is still long. I've notice while deductible is still due claims are processed quicker as its applied toward deductible 3-5 days to process.

Horrible
They deny 99% of claims. They always say pre-existing conditions, when they are not. When I first got the dog from the shelter, his first sickness they denied for pre-existing condition. I should have took that as a sign.

Outstanding Pet Insurance
HealthyPaws provides exceptional coverage and makes it easy to submit invoices on the website or app. I've had a healthy paws policy for every pet I've ever owned, and I highly recommend this company for pet insurance. I would have never have been able to afford cancer treatments for my dog without his healthy paws insurance policy. I'm truly grateful for the vet care I've been able to get for my pets and healthy paws has been a huge part of making this possible by getting expensive vet care covered.

You should allow insureds to specify the claim amount. I’ve had issues with adjusters misunderstanding the amount claimed in complex claims.
