The claims process is very easy! I enter basic information and copy of the invoice and that’s it. Response time is reasonable and having my payment direct deposited is convenient. I recommend PetsBest to anyone looking for a great pet insurance.

I recently adopted an adult dog and luckily decided to get insurance. She had been given a clean bill of health when I adopted here, but 6 months later she became ill. I did a live chat on Pets Best and the person I talked to said she didn't know if what she had would be covered, but that i should send in the paperwork to make sure. I found it pretty easy to submit the paperwork and Pet Best kept me informed of where the process was at each stage. I was so grateful when some of the bills were covered and a check for that came the same day as the bill i had to pay. So thank you so much, with my limited budget the timing was perfect. i will recommend your company to my family and friends.

Trupanion's process and claim service was better than expected! My daughter's sweet Goldendoodle need to have both hips replaced and Trupanion covered the procedures at 90%!!! I am a veterinarian and was amazed at how easily the claim process went, especially for the second procedure.

Company hesitates to pay claims
This company gives you the runaround to avoid paying claims. My 9 month old puppy had a upper respiratory infection. I took him to the vet and the charge was $125. I submitted a claim but I keep being told they don't have all of my dogs medical records even after I uploaded everything multiple times. They then contacted my vet and got what they needed but after a week they decided they still needed more. After getting that they decided they needed records from the vet that completed his Neutering appt. It's ridiculous. That vet doesn't even have any records other than what was from the Neutering appt. Anyway even after getting this they still haven't paid the claim. It's been over 2 months....... I would not recommend this company to anyone.

not a covered benefit
i called manypets explaining my dog situation - vet wrote he strained his leg muscle and possibly has a disc disease but they could not see on xrays. the ManyPets rep told me on the phone to sign up for pet insurance and that it would be covered considering he didnt get diagnosed with that. Ive been paying for almost a year and when I went to submit one claim they told me it was not a covered benefit since it was mentioned on a progress note of what he possibly could have. Wouldve been great had someone explained that to me! His insurance was more than $100 a month. Thats twice more than what i paid for my own insurance. I just wished i got clearer instructions and was advised of the right information prior to signing up. If i had known, I wouldnt have signed up for insurance for him.

Near impossible to cancel - they keep billing me
I was in Europe and was coming up for renewal of both my Auto and Home policies. Unfortunately, their website cannot be accessed from abroad (for security reasons) so I was unable to cancel online. Now they are disputing I ever cancelled it over the phone and via an email. There is no trust or ethics with these guys. I was happy for the first two years but they kept increasing my rates thinking I would not move back to a traditional broker. They were wrong. In the long run they will not save you money and are difficult to work with

The phone Vet consult was outstanding. My dog had been vomiting all food for 24 hours. He asked thorough questions and gave me precise instructions for my dogs care. What a relief to get help on the week-end.
