I referred 3 people December 5th
I referred 3 people December 5th, I was told I'd receive rewards within 48 hours, after emailing support. Well I have received absolutely NOTHING!!! DO NOT!!! refer people to this pet insurance company if you're expecting rewards in return 🤦🏽♀️

Thank you SPOT pet insurance
SPOT reached out to my vets and processed my claims quickly once they got the information from the vet. They covered the majority of the bill which allowed me to provide the care my dog needed. Without SPOT pet insurance, I wouldn't have been able to afford the care my fur baby needed.

No complaints department, ghosted once declined.
I didn’t realise there was a 15 day waiting period and unfortunately my cat was ill within that timeframe. After realising this, I cancelled but then got an email on the day of her surgery to resign up again as there would be no issues and no waiting period, no pre existing! It sounded too good to be true but I was hopeful and I resigned up after speaking with Katie who assured me it was all going to be okay. Well, it was too good to be true. Cat had to get surgery for stomatitis which cost $4,500! I emailed twice to get my claim reconsidered and got no reply. I called and asked to be put through to the complaints department. They do not have one?! Madness. I spoke with the supervisor who basically said tough titty, the wording on the email was confusing and that is not what we meant. No accountability. I cancelled and I am waiting to get a trustworthy company. The world of pet insurance is a battlefield. The reply is even confusing! I tried. It really is a shame I had to resort to trustpilot to get a reply to two emails. Save yourselves the time and get a complaints department.

Easy to submit a claim and get reimbursed
I had to take my cat in twice to emergency animal care because he ate something he shouldn't. It was very expensive, but super easy to upload my receipt to Spot through their app to get reimbursed based on the plan I picked and they approved the claims quickly, with no hassle. Thanks Spot for removing the stress out of what was already a scary situation.

Diagnosis not listed as a choosable…
Diagnosis not listed as a choosable option while being told that because of that claim will be delayed even though diagnosis is listed on included paperwork. This is my first claim so in a learning process.
