I have been with Pumpkin Insurance for almost 2 years. My dog Simon unfortunately, has experienced stomach digestive issues that required medical attention with one trip to the emergency vet. Pumpkin insurance was there for us all the time!. They are very responsive and fair with their insurance coverage. In addition, they are very prompt in evaluating claims and payments. Their customer service is awesome! I would highly recommended Pumpkin Insurance. I wish I knew about them sooner!

Keep shopping and reading RECENT reviews!! I’ve had three of my furbabies insured…
I’ve had three of my furbabies insured with trupanion for about 10 years, had only two claims for my kitties. My dog had a sudden onset of illness and in less than 24 hours needed put to sleep as there was no recovery. This insurance claim has been nothing short of insulting and has added to the heartbreak of losing our lily girl. They have denied our claim multiple times for every reason they could come up with unless we re-supplied them with more information! I finally called and spoke to a real person, asked them WHAT ELSE they needed to pay her med bills, I gave them what they “thought they wanted” again (already submitted everything I had multiple times). Yesterday they requested MORE records from a vet Lily was at when she was 10 mos old-one of the first vets we had when we found her, she already was insured at that time so there is zero chance of “pre-existing” anything had they looked at dates. It’s been since early to mid April with back and forth denials, threats of final denials with deadlines of only a couple days to provide them MORE information and STILL no closure! Sadly, I referred MANY friends to purchase trupanion (without ever receiving any referral money-not why I was referring friends), and now I will NEVER refer anyone-else to this insurance company! I do not make a habit of writing negative reviews, but have no choice at this point. TRUPANION, in my opinion, is NOT what they used to be :(
