First time I had to use my policy
First time I had to use my policy. It was a major surgery for my dog of 3 years old. To file the claim it was super easy. Communication back of them receiving my claim was super fast. Receiving my payment was really quick into my account. This is the best company for pet insurance, I have friends that are probably going to switch to Embrace, they had nightmare experiences with theirs. Don’t hesitate to grab this pet insurance.

Great pet insurance!
Really loved using Embrace for my pet insurance.Never had any problems as they reviewed my claims and within a few days paid me what I had coming. I tried to keep my monthly costs down and opted for the 70 percent reimbursement plan and it worked for me. I currently have no pets so Im not in need of pet insurance right now but going forward if I have a need again I would surely choose Embrace and would recomend to anyone who asks.

Trupanion helped, but BEWARE OF PREMIUM INCREASE
Trupanion helped save our dachshund from paralysis by making the cost of surgery possible for us. We have had Trupanion on our boy for almost 5 years. I reviewed a Trupanion pamphlet at the vet’s office. It stated in the pamphlet that the premium would not increase after a claim. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Four months after surgery, we were notified that the premium for his insurance will almost double, effective in two months! We’re grateful to Trupanion for their help in an emergency, but people need to know that their premiums will increase significantly after a claim.

Switching insurance
I have had an awful time with my illness claims! The wellness is incredibly quick and easy but illness claims take forever. I had to call them so many times to get my claim through all because errors on their behalf. They claimed my claim was prior to the waiting period but my waiting period was long over before that. It was ridiculous.

I appreciate the prompt processing of claims and responsiveness to questions. I was disappointed to hear that dental work is only covered if the deep cleaning and exam with anesthesia was done before age 1. From what my vet told me this is not routinely done until age 3.
